Alissa Turney is a young woman who went missing on May 17, 2001. Her case has a lot of unexpected twists and turns.
Alissa was 17 when she vanished from her home on May 17, 2001. It was her last day of school and her stepfather (Michael) took her out school early to go to lunch with him. While at lunch, he alleges that they had an argument because she said she wanted more privileges.
In commemoration of the 250th blog and since Rain without Rainbows turned six years old this month,
I’m going to spill every secret, plan, and answer that I’ve ever held back.
So go ahead.

Man, has it really been a year since my last blog? Geez, I am lurking hard.
Originally intended as an entry in the big sci-fi contest (but sadly not completed in time), it's a new long-form story from yours truly! I hope you all like it!

I finally got around to watching Wreck-It Ralph, and let me just say, I am so glad I chose to see it after IYGALL finished, 'cause boy, does "IYGALL video game AU" sound weird as heck. As much as I enjoyed the movie...after that twist, I can't stop thinking about how similar the two are. (If anyone else has noticed the similarity, rest assured, it surprised me as much as it did you.)
In any case, what this means is I know the first thing I'm gonna draw 2018~
The way I relieve stress also puts stress on my back. I really need a massage.
Three gen 5 fic's this week, you probably already saw two in the mid-week update (which doesn't leave me much to talk about today...)
I finally got some writing done this week with one more cupcake in the oven.
So Songbird has finally been released, with updates coming daily. At the current pace, the last chapter will be up on Tuesday. It’s a relief to finally have it out there, but the story is an exemplary example of one thing:
I hate the deep editing process. I'm sure a few folks are sick of hearing me say that.
Do you like race cars? And do you like weatherponies?
Than you’ll love AlwaysDressesInStyle’s newest entry into my not-a-contest, Days Without Thunder.
I made a group for my stories in the Shadow-Dashverse!

That's it...
Blog Post's Rating: T for Teen
In the official fimfiction.net discord, I saw an interesting question in #site-dev-and-help.
"Recon" asked:
If I have a long story (over 100k words) that is rated T and I have a small portion late in the story where some very M rated events take place, what's the best way to handle that?
Whenever an author updates a linear story with a chapter placed earlier than what was the latest chapter before it makes my mind lose grasp of where the heck the story was going.
A whole week of not writing. I daresay it was necessary. It was nice to be able to dive into gaming like I used to, but I know better than to let that sink its steely, pixelated hooks into my flesh for a second time, so I finally ended the little vacation yesterday. I won’t be seriously into writing again until next week due to a busy coming weekend; I just don’t see the point of trying to pick up steam when I know I’ll have to hit the breaks again. Still, I am writing again in general, so it’s
If you haven't noticed, I just uploaded a new chapter to Elements. That's right, EARLY RELEASE! Why? Well, for a number of reasons, but intend on keeping them all to myself.
What I will tell you is that while this is an early release, the chapter afterwards will be unleashed at the proper time a week and a day or two after.
After that, I intend on unveiling another story for the end of the month, but you won't see an iota of what's up until then.
Sometimes, I really hate myself... Last week, I announced I would be finishing and uploading a new chapter on the Tuesday following, but... that didn't pan out as I hoped... One day late bled into two, then three, and next thing I know, it's Sunday.
Shit.
