Sometimes, I really hate myself... Last week, I announced I would be finishing and uploading a new chapter on the Tuesday following, but... that didn't pan out as I hoped... One day late bled into two, then three, and next thing I know, it's Sunday.
Shit.
I know why too. It's a combination of my laziness, and the weather here deciding it wanted to be god damn TEXAS for a week or so. Sweating like a god damn pig in a desert, just wanting to stay in the shade and do jack shit. FUCK YOU MOTHER NATURE! Also, there is a car (the only one in the street cause the whole town is dead today) beeping outside, and it's driving me to want to grab the hockey stick downstairs and start swinging at the hunk of metal and glass.
PSA: People, if you hear your car going BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP for lengthy periods of time, drop EVERYTHING you're doing, and stop it immediately. Leaving it unattended is only going to make the local loon want to do something rash.
So, what does this mean to you, the 3 or so readers I have? Well, the chapter is late (duh), and I have no idea when it'll be done. I'll TRY to get some progress on (and maybe finish) the chapter, but that's more of a maybe. It's too bad I don't feel more dedicated too, cause what's coming up next after the next two chapters of set up is something I've really been looking forward to ever since I decided to transform the first arc (which once was a stand alone story at the time) into the multi-parted ride of expanding on the concept with some stupid humor and a few decent serious moments.
Here's hoping I'll soon get off my ass and get to work, but no promises. Please, if you have any critiques to give on my story thus far, give them, whether they be positive or negative. I FEED on your thoughts and suggestions, my friends. It really helps my craft in the long run.

3190347 Well, I've never been to Florida, but yeah, it's that bad. The fact that it feels exactly the same way up here in Canada is a disconcerting thought on top of it.

Dude. Take as long as you need. You don't feel like finishing the chapter, maybe you should reread it, check if there isn't anything you'd want to redo? That's what I did with my last two chapters, turns out there were quite a few things that needed adding that I didn't notice before. Give your intuition some credit.
Also, to quote a certain someone we both know and love, "DO IT! DO IT, YOU WIMP!" with regards to the hokey stick and car.
3191300 My intuition says "I want to get this chapter done." It's not even 50% done, and that's the problem. I haven't done NEARLY enough progress on it. It's not that I don't want to do it. It is simply that I'm a lazy fuck that needs to get off his ass and fucking do it for fucking once. I've taken far too many breaks with this story, and it's pissing me right the fuck off.
Trust me, this isn't a "something's wrong, so I should re-read it to fix it" issue. It's an "actually fucking work on it you lazy sack of shit" issue.

Take your time, and finish the chapter, when you're in a writting mood, don't worry for the wait.
Also about the car, it's quite curious to see that no one ever played Street fighter 2 in your neighborhood, or that car wouldn't be alive to keep beeping.
