When I see new canon details, I don't think of them as headcanon destroyers: I think of them as inspiration for more headcanon.

More story ideas, more character twists, more world building, etc.

Besides, AUs being a thing helps to keep headcanons valid.

It took over two weeks, but I finally figured out something interesting to say about this episode. The overall bronalysis reaction to this episode (well, the half dozen or so that I've seen anyway) all appear to agree: this episode is a good follow-up to "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" but otherwise is a bit forgettable.

I thought Misty gave up on the lantern already. She couldn't find it while she was staring directly at it, what were the chances that she finds it while the New Mane 6 were around?
What does Zipp do when hearing evil Misty evilly talking to evil Opaline? She goes back to sleep, that's what she does.
Nothing sus around. Everything is in perfect order. The best time to go back to sleep. So what does Zipp do? She goes sightseeing in the middle of the night for no reason.
