The Stable-Tec Assisted Targeting Overcharge System, also known as "Critical Hit". Nice.
Also, another great chapter today. I am pleased.
Well, is that a part of FO4's gameplay that's finally been adapted to the Fo3/NV gameplay this fic seems to follow ? Bueno. :3
I personally rather enjoyed FO4's gameplay, being amateur of the Jack-of-All-trades strategy, but i can understand that each peoples have preferences. I still like how you sometimes merges the two gameplays, it crate a special mix rather unique. ^^
Well, now ONWARD ! to the next chapter !
I wish Fast hadn't blown it with those three alicorn mares but that's fine. I tend to dislike monogamous relationships in MLP since it is a primarily human quality and not found in normal equine behavior. That aside, I have to say I am really enjoying this FOE fic so far.
Keep up the good work!
It helped her grow Ivy, and that helped her understand and accept who she is which is what all of you need, to understand yoursleves as individuals and not as the collection of minds and souls you were before.
Inferior... yeah many of the guns commonly found in the wasteland are, but unnecessary... that is were she was very wrong.
For example: say you have a minigun with infinite ammo but (as with most weapons) it can only fire so much before you have to reaload it and what if you did not manage to get that one guy and he shoots you, suddenly you regret not picking up that inferior pistol from earlier

In regards to the second half of your comment, I feel that I must say that, in my time with the Fallout game I have learned many things, the first of which was simply this, 'Always carry at least one side arm.'

Or an insane amount of grenades and mines, though I do always enjoy my trusty automatic 10mm.

I bring like 3 guns and a melee weapon to all my excursions in FO4. I buy all the .45s I can afford (quite literally, most of the time) for my Overseer’s Guardian, which I have actually customized to be non-automatic because I feel I get more bang for my buck that way (88 damage and a fairly quick reload speed), have some .308s for a Suppressed Rifle I got from Trudy as a fall back, and loot .38s off raiders for my heavily modified Pipe Pistol, because I’m not gonna use something that does 60 damage on a bloodbug or singular ghoul.
The melee weapon is for extreme emergencies, but I haven’t used it yet. I don’t really use mines and grenades in a pinch.

Grenades and mines are for when you are bored. Having a wide variety of different types of guns are also useful in different situations...

Personally I use grenades and mines for bosses and super-mutants, sometimes packs of ghouls and much higher level fights.
I'm pretty low-level right now, so it's helpful.
And so our intrepid heros return home, if only for a short time.
Cool. Peri is strange. Interesting.
How fallout 4 should have been

All I can think of with this scene is when Neo and Trinity return to Zion in the second matrix movie and there are offerings lining the hall to their quarters, as thanks for all they've done. The two situations are comfortingly similar, including a chosen one or sorts (Fast) and his guiding angel (Jade).
S.A.T.O.S. is such a nice way of handling the criticle hit system, way better than just having it right off the bat in fo4.
