On a late-night flight around Ponyville, Rainbow Dash inadvertently stumbles across a friend in the middle of a crisis. Handling it with all the grace and poise she's known for, Rainbow immediately sticks her hoof in her mouth. Now she's promised to help Twilight Sparkle with her problem, no matter what. Rainbow Dash doesn't leave her friends hanging, after all. Even if the subject matter is outside her comfort zone.

Neither of them could have guessed the ways that one promise would change their lives for the better.

Set after seasons 2/before season 3. Rated teen just to be safe for some mentions of sex down the line.

Twilight has been playing with time again but this time Rainbow interferes and the spell goes horribly wrong. Alone in a world without time the two of the time embark on a journey to undo what's been done. Their own time continues to move on, and, as all time, it is fleeting and precious.

Rainbow couldn't be happier with Twilight- the alicorn princess is the perfect mare for her, everything she could ask for.

Unfortunately, there are also a few more things that she didn't ask for.

After bumping into a rude pony from flight school, Rainbow tells a rather large lie to save face.

A two part story.

Scootaloo's childhood was a time of discovery for her. She found her true family. She learned to overcome her fears, regain her confidence, and to end her long time depression.
Her life is filled with beautiful moments, horrible moments, all from which she learned from a great deal in the end.

Metal ponies tell their stories,
Scientists in laboratories,
Lay the wire, mount the brain,
Mount their hips, teach them pain.
Teach them fear of revolution,
Internalize the evolution.
Set their ruin on the throne,
Until their chains become their own.
Palaces and hollow eyes,
To the Masters goes the prize.
And if this act should be maligned:
"For the good of ponykind."

We all have dreams, goals, and ideas. We all want for something, want to ascribe to be something. But… what happens once you’ve achieved that goal? What do you do if you’ll never achieve that goal? If circumstances in life prevent you from ever being able to do the thing you love?

Two ponies, two friends, each have to deal with a different version of that question. But maybe they can find the answer together, and maybe, just maybe, they’ll find something else as well.
