Rainbow understands how Twilight feels. Being in love for the first time can be scary. She wishes she could say something that would comfort her, but feels that being patient with the mare is the best way to bring her closer.
The sun sets in the distance, but Rainbow is far too distracted with the thought of someday to completely focus on it.

An entry to the seventeenth Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Competition. Written in sixty minutes. Prompt was "Mirror" and genre was limited to horror. Presented here as is.

My captor was kind, to a point. They provided me with a comfortable private suite, three meals a day, and tried to accommodate any of my needs within reason. It was a far cry from being locked away in a dingy dungeon or straight up killed, but I still was a bit wary about the true intentions of this alicorn.
