In a world plagued by Black Magic for the past fourteen years, society teeters on the edge of chaos and despair. Amidst these dark times, a young girl developed a curiosity for the mysteries and science of the true magic that once flourished in this world.

Unbeknownst to her, she is the daughter of Sunset Shimmer, the interdimensional being that brought magic into this world 20 years ago. Tragically, Sunset passed away after her daughter's birth. The baby girl, Sunrise Shimmer, grew up under the secluded guardianship of Canterlot High's principal, Celestia.

Fourteen years later, Sunrise's life takes an unexpected turn when she enters her first year at Canterlot High and encounters Brilliant Light, the exceptionally gifted son of the esteemed scientist, Dr. Twilight Sparkle. Sunrise and her new friends embark on a journey that promises to unravel the enigmas of the past and shape the destiny of their tumultuous world.

*The year in this story is 2037

One night, Celestia and Luna take a walk in the royal gardens only to find a small alicorn filly. She is solid white except for her cutie mark which consists of the color spectrum in the shape of a flower. Celestia recognizes who this filly is and her importance to the future of a certain kingdom.

Knowing that Canterlot isn't the best place to raise a filly, she entrusts Twilight and her friends to raise her in Ponyville, but keeps the truth about this filly a secret.

Raised in a land of blood shed, violence, and treachery, one Arashi Hisako has grown rather calloused to it all. Since she was 3 she was trained to fight, to kill, and to serve her village even if it meant her death. It was drilled into her that she will more than likely die in battle, for only the very best Ninja ever had the luxury to grow old and retire. But she was fine with this, after all, it was a fact of life since she was 3.

Now however, she finds herself in a strange land, full of creatures who seem to care for her, and abhor violence. She was trained to see underneath the underneath, but what is a Genin to do when there is nothing to see?
