Fighters live for their next battle. They fight until they taste the dirt of defeat. But that was never supposed to be a part of Twilight Sparkle's schedule. Once, she was a promising student for Unicorns everywhere, and now... She's a bar fighter.
She says she'll leave Ponyville one day and return to her life as an accomplished scholar. But her new "friends" at Knuckle Brick Corner have made that more difficult than it needed to be.
Now she'll either have to learn to fight or learn how to fight better. As Equestria's rising contender for the most skilled fighter. Starting at the bottom of the loser's bracket.

Stalingrad,1942. The Germans have captured most of the city but the Soviets won't give up. Both sides have heavy losses. Can a squad of German soldiers prevent a lost filly named Ruby Pinch to becoming one of the losses?

The Pacific, 1945. The Second World war in the Pacific comes close to an end. But still Japan won't give up. Their soldiers rather fight to the end then getting captured. It's their honor. One Japanese squad however sees it as honor to keep a lost foal named Tootsie Flute alive.

ACT One: (Chapters 1-10)
After a fatal tragedy, Twilight wakes up in a situation unlike anything she had experienced before. How is she supposed to react when she finds herself reincarnated as the daughter of Queen Chrysalis, the very one who orchestrated her assassination? Does she give into the rage and loss of her former self, or does she hold true to the magic of friendship?

ACT Two: Synopsis incoming

Days prior to the planned march on Rome, Benito Mussolini is anxious.

Oh yes, he has been given the go-ahead from the American ambassador and has thousands of blackshirts and some of the most avant-garde fascists behind him. However, this strength is deceptive, just like the confidence he made sure to wear in front of his fellow fascists; his own blackshirt commander told Il Duce that he would not act against the king if he resisted, and there is still the army loyal to the crown that is ready to fight on his word.

Doubt plaguing him, Benito is now at a crossroad: should he continue as planned or perhaps flee Italy altogether? He decides to take a night stroll to iron out his thoughts.

That is, until a freak earthquake hits Naples and changes history forever.

Character Bio: Starburst

Yeah, after looking at kilala97's stuff I finally caved and decided to try and write a story about her OC characters. Since Starburst's special talent is "intimidation", I thought: "Why the hell not, make that mare a Fear Lantern!" and so here we are.

King Sombra returns to Equestria and haunts Twilight Sparkle. Will she fall to the king? Or will she defeat him yet again?

If she falls, who is to blame?

Old foes come back and her friends face their own nightmares. All caused by a certain king and his newly found wife.

Must. Resist!

The life Twilight has led is a complete lie. At least that's what she falls to believe, but maybe it's true?

Side Story to The Demesne of the Reluctant Twilight Sparkle

When Doctor Princess Twilight Sparkle got Ponyville and the surrounding lands as her exclusive demesne, she knew it meant changes and stuff. Glittering opportunities. Dire crises. Friendships gained and imperiled. The dawn of a new age for Ponyville. A renaissance of the arts and sciences. A great test of her abilities as a leader and as a friend.

The brewing civil war took her by surprise, on the other claw.

The Princesses and their allies in Canterlot are working to change the laws, disband the new militias and ensure a lasting peace, but they need time. Soon, this cold war of arms and intimidation will heat up, and all the laws and decrees in the world ain't stopping it.

Doctor Princess Twilight Sparkle will buy them time. She will do what it takes to keep her friends, her family, and yes, her demesne safe.

With the help of a handsome griffon security professional—that's me, by the way—a devious illusionist, a ruthless athlete, a bored noble, and a pair of boater-clad con-ponies, she'll stop the damn war herself if she has to.
