After Luna's return, Celestia begins to notice Luna's down spiral into depression. Each day the lunar princess isolates herself into her room at night and cries until slumber catches up to her. This worries her sister further. She thought everything was good between them now. What changed?
One day the sorrowful cries of the princess stop... But a new problem arises... Luna now acts like a dragon hiding its treasure. Shes hasty, secretive and defensive. This causes suspicion and confusion in the elder sister.
What is Luna hiding from her? And how long before Luna's little secret gets out?

One night, while feeling lonely and unwanted, Luna sits beneath the moon in lazy musing about the loneliness of not having a friend. Worried, Princess Celestia goes out to find her sister. When the two meet beneath Luna's large moon, will they be able to rekindle their broken friendship?

Nightmare Moon has been defeated, the long-lost Princess Luna has returned, and everyone is happy. Well, Princess Celestia is. The castle staff is still rather unnerved by everything the sudden disappearance of their monarch, and are still wary of this situation.

One guard is particularly unhappy with this new arrival. Which is why he's staying as close to her as possible.

Shadows of our mistakes can often follow us for a long time, sometimes even manifesting as voices in our heads. Unfortunately, the voice in Luna's head is a bit more aggressive than most, and it's all the worse when it catches her off guard.
The trick with such problems though, is to not repeat the same mistakes of the past. Luna's greatest mistake was thinking she had to face it alone.

A story looking at what happened between Luna's return in Season 1 and her re-appearance in "Luna Eclipsed" in Season 2. After a thousand years trapped on the moon she once controlled, Luna is no longer certain of where she belongs, her mental state unsure, her magic diminished. What will become of the former Princess of the Night?

Luna is a happy filly, and wants her sister to be happy too. She doesn't know why Celestia cries at night, so she's going to raise the sun and let her big sister sleep in.

Celestia watches her waiting to raise the sun from inside her chambers, torn between a love that she wants to acknowledge and the machinations of politics that have kept her from doing so.

They all idolized Celestia, and she could never understand why.

Why would they praise her, why would they shower her with such adoration and glory? Celestia knew she didn't deserve it. But still, she could never bring herself to tell them the truth. She was far too selfish, far too cowardly to ever let them see who she really was--

The holiday has brought up only bad memories and after a chance meeting with a filly those memories become all too real.

The Elements of Harmony were unleashed against Nightmare Moon in a climactic clash, as was predicted a thousand years ago. With Nightmare banished and Princess Luna restored, life in Equestria is fairytale perfect. But just what was the relationship between Luna and Nightmare Moon? Was it as simple as the old books portray, or was there something deeper going on?

When Luna joins her sister in Canterlot Castle truths will need to be revealed, and the shadows of history rolled back. Sisterly harmony will be at stake, and trust will be tested in the aftermath of the return of the mare in the moon.

My first fic. If it ain't obvious as you read along, I am not a pro caliber writer, although I do try for proper grammar, spelling and the like. I will add chapters as work/life/free time permits me.

Luna, now back from banishment and having been released from Nightmare Moon, has reservations about who she is and how the rest of the world sees her. Although she desperately wants to make amends with her sister, she can't force herself to bring it up in a conversation, and it eventually takes the magic touch of her sister to set things right once again.

(Humorously enough, due to a time zone difference I found that instead of being early for submissions, I was two hours too late. Go figure...anyhow, I hope you enjoy it!)
