Harmonic bonds aren't the most predictable of spells. Sunset learned this the hard way with Twilight. Involving Moon Dancer will make things either extremely complicated, or extremely simple.

And that has nothing to do with harmonic bonds.

Continuity: Homecoming.

While drawing up the plans for the School of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle asks Starlight Glimmer to be its guidance counselor.

In hindsight, Starlight's reaction was perfectly understandable given the circumstances.

After years of ever-mounting pressures of princesshood and the running the School of Friendship, Twilight makes a difficult choice. Now, she needs to surrender the stewardship of the Castle Library to somepony else. At least it’s her old friend Moondancer.

That should be simple enough. Shouldn’t be any complications. None at all. Right?
