Set in a century after the settlement of Appaloosa, Jonagold Apple decides that for her school paper that she would research on her relative, her great-great-grandfather, Braeburn Apple. She goes to the town's library and asks if they have any primary sources. The only thing they have is a dusty box containing the correspondence between her ancestor, and a stallion named Soarin Cloudline.

Everything starts somewhere. Under the bark of a great tree you'll find where a sapling once began. The same can be said for all forms of life that to find out who they truly are, or where they began, you have to start at the roots. Deep in the soil they grow, and eventually blossom.

Caramel and Big Macintosh have been dating for a while. Two years to be exact. They've fallen into a routine of dates, romance, and finding time just to be with one another. Settling down might be seen as a negative to some, but it's comfortable for the two of them. The Apple Family reunion approaches quickly, set to take place for the first time in Appleloosa. Mac debates the question if he's ready to introduce Caramel to his extended family, and to take their relationship to a more serious level. During this, Caramel struggles to deal with an appearance of a letter on his doorstep. It's a letter that reminded him of the roots he abandoned, but never forgot.

This is simply the harrowing tale about the day that blueblood had to foalsit Flurry Heart.  What brought these two together?  Will Bluebloods survive this experience? Last but most important, what could possibly go wrong?

Everything had went well, for better or worse. Ember and Thorax managed to get along, much to Spike's relief. They even seemed to almost touch base on a personal level, but it was then that Spike felt his gut knot up. He felt a hint of possessiveness, a slight sliver of anger... Even Spike knew it was jealousy, but what he couldn't figure out is why? They were being friendly... too friendly? Spike takes on an adventure of self-discovery, one that'll leave Spike forever changed... for better or worse.

Whether it's a drink or a slice of locally made apple pie, the Salt Block Saloon in Appleoosa is the place to go. Come on down, have a local cider or imported bourbon or whiskey, and relax with music and entertainment in the company of a few good friends.

My version of Lauren Faust ending up in Equestria. I probably got her character all wrong. Hey, I never met her, cut me some slack.

So, Lauren Faust is Queen of Equestria in this story. How will she react? How will everypony else react? And what does Pinkie's chimicherrychangas have to do with all of this? One thing is clear already. For Twilight and her friends it won't be the same.

Added AU tag, 'cause someone mentioned it would be safe. And when I think about it, I don't think we ever get to learn who the princesses parents are.

Just a note, this is set during season two. So the events of "A Canterlot Wedding" haven't happened yet.
