Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Philarmonica were two such souls, bound by love but separated by fate. Even across the distance dividing them, though, they sent messages to each other.

Until, one fateful day several months after the immense door of Stable 29 closed, everything went wrong.

When the megaspells fell, everything died, but New Pegasus endured. The city of mobsters, crime, vice and gambling survived and thrived during the long balefire winter. Twenty years after the Day of Sunshine and Rainbows, New Pegasus is still a beacon in the middle of the Neighvada Desert, a pot of gold for whoever can get his hooves on it.

The NCR has predictably fallen prey to one of these vices: corruption. They now risk plunging the republic and all its citizens back into the hell they so recently escaped from. Luckily, the Twilight Society is not about to let that happen without a fight, and have called in a secret asset. A secret asset that saved Equestria once, and is now hoped can do so again. That asset... is Littlepip.
