To celebrate Tirek's defeat, Pinkie has a huge party at the Friendship Castle. During this party, Fluttershy says how she wishes she had a foal, but doesn't think she'd be a good mother.Twilight tells her she'd be a great mother and that, if Fluttershy had been her mother, she'd have been a great one to her. Pumpkin, hearing this, casts a spell, just as Discord, for a joke, is about to turn Twilight into a foal for the night. When Twilight wakes up the next morning, she finds she's become an alicorn foal and fluttershy is her mother.

They both remember that that isn't how it use to be, but other than Discord and Pinkie nopony else seems to remember it and, for some reason, Discord can't reverse the spell. What will they do now?

In case you were wondering, no, twilight isn't a unicorn in the picture, she's an alicorn; you just can't see her wings because she's laying on her back is all.

Twilight's friends have had enough, resulting in a terrible split among the mane six.

Finding herself almost completely alone after the events of the Storm King's invasion, Twilight needs some new insight into her purpose in life. She's hurt where it matters the most, the spark of friendship in her failing to rekindle, and she knows she can't just stay in Ponyville after what happened.

She gets to thinking... She liked the adventures she went on. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to have some more.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. Things seem to be falling through the cracks lately. Spike thinks I should go see the doctor, but...

A few months after the royal wedding a Pegasus meets up with a Unicorn. Bot disgruntled about the youngest offspring of their families.
One wanted a strong flyer, and a fierce personality and unspoken beauty. Someone who he could train to seduce his competition and learn their secrets and eventually take over the families company. But he got a shy mare, with a golden heart and a timid personality.
The other wanted more political leverage and name for his house. For a moment it seemed his wishes came true, as his youngest niece showed great intellect and promise. But now, instead of the glorious prospect of her being a high ranking member of the court and leading scientist she became a librarian in a small village.
A disgrace to their houses, both of them as far as both stallions were concerned. But even though these youngsters were a disgrace to their tastes. It didn’t meant they could not still be useful right? Any noble house needed bits, the more you had the better you could make a scene in those social gatherings and the easier it was to rise within the noble-ranks. The other, although vastly rich could never get a title. But ancient laws and customs would soon aid both of their problems in one ceremony.

The story of how Fluttershy and Twilight begin to realize they have feeling for eachother. They encounter several trials and tribulations but in the end Love always wins. :)

When I lost my sight, I became a recluse. I hid away, staying in my own world instead of out in the one meant for those with sight. But when Princess Celestia had me move to Ponyville, I had to adjust to a new walk of life, again intended for those with sight. I guess I'm doing okay, thanks to a certain pegasus mare whose kindness and gentle voice got through to me where everyone else has failed.

Twilight Sparkle moves to Ponyville and begins learning the friendship is magic, little did she know she would also start learning the meaning of love. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie pie struggle with keeping their relationship a secret, and of being the, to their knowledge, only same-sex couple in Ponyville.

First Chapter will include things directly from the show as well as original, everything after Chapter 1 will be original, Will take place around the canon events of the show, with things from the episode being mentioned but happening before and after them. Some things are changed around though, such as Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash knowing each other before Twilight moves to Ponyville.

Twilight has been thrust into a prominent role in equestrian society; a role for which she is woefully unprepared. With her coronation only three weeks away, she must prepare herself to meet the expectations of a nation. Thankfully, her friends are on hoof to provide her with their unwavering support on the run up to this momentous occasion.

However is their help what Twilight really needs? She wants to be a good princess, but is she willing to reinvent her entire personality to do so? Can anypony truly understand what she's going through?

Twilight never expected her new castle to feel like home straight away, but neither did she expect it to be so terribly cold and empty.

She really needs somepony to help her fix that.

When Fluttershy steps up to the mark, she and Twilight embark on a task of immense proportions - making a castle a home. But when her other friends decide to intervene, Twilight soon discovers that her feelings of friendship for Fluttershy go far, far deeper that she could have possibly imagined.

Fluttershy and Twilight are killed by Celestia in order to retrieve the souls of ponies, that Fluttershy has killed, this is book two!
