During a night out together, Rarity discovers that Rainbow Dash is struggling with her love life. Always willing to help a friend in need, Rarity decides that what Rainbow Dash needs is to be shown how to go on dates that she'll really enjoy, and what better pony to show her than Rarity herself?

Rarity can be very patient. Part of getting what you want the way you want is biding your time and bringing other ponies around to see what should be obvious. Rainbow Dash was never very good at seeing what should be obvious. But even Equestria's densest mare got the hint eventually.

Rarity is very patient. She keeps her calm as a lady should. Even if their date was to start two hours ago. Why she ever said yes to that scruffy boor of a pegasus is anypony's guess.

Loving someone is more than just an emotion. It becomes a part of us and changes who we are. Without that other person, we simply aren't complete.

Rainbow knows this. Rarity knows this. And that's why simply being together over lunch is all they need in the world.

The waiter has just made a very funny mistake. See, he thinks Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Rarity are all dating, when it's actually just Twilight and Dash. Rarity thinks it's very funny not to correct him. Now how far can she take the joke?

A spiritual sequel to Flimsy Pretexts, written as a response to the effervescent Monochromatic. An effort to close our loop of RariTwi x Dash, then RariDash x Twi - naturally there needed to be a TwiDash x Rarity for balance.

Twilight is stuck in a lengthy diplomatic meeting and can’t spend her time with the other girls during their beach vacation. Her being away causes Rainbow quite some distress – not only because she’s missing her, but also because there is a thing she needs to discuss with Twilight.

So when Twilight starts sending letters, Rainbow is excited. And she decides that she doesn’t care if Twilight is on a tight schedule – Rainbow Dash wouldn’t be Rainbow Dash if she couldn’t come up with a solution!
