Trixie Lulamoon, once a child prodigy that attended Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, is now a burnt-out occultist forced to live under the power of his old schoolmate, Twilight Sparkle, and undergo reformation for a crime against the Queen of Equestria. Seven months into his ‘sentence,’ Trixie and Twilight are romantically involved with one another, each trying to juggle the responsibilities of their lives as practicing magicians with the demands of their unorthodox relationship.

This story chronicles a day in their lives.

In the tower of a crystalline castle, a wizard broods over his relationship to a certain princess. To a stable person, it would appear as if things have been smooth sailing, but our malcontent magician fears he'll be running aground any day now if he can't put Twilight under his spell. But how? When the Helping Hooves Fundraising Fair comes to Ponyville to help the disenfranchised youth, Trixie dreams up his most sinister show yet.

Cozy Glow's plans failed. She was arrested and sentenced to imprisonment in Tartarus, sharing a cell with the likes of Tirek and locked away from the world. Everypony is in agreement that justice has been served, right?

Well, her parents aren't. What parent could ever stand by and allow their child to suffer all alone? And if Celestia won't listen... then they'll just have to take matters into their own hooves.

Before she meets what she assumes is her end, she is saved by a group of bipedal creatures that take her to their master, someone named Illidan Stormrage. There she learns what the bipedal creatures are preparing for and is offered a choice; either join them or return to her home.

The problem, she discovers, is that there is another displaced pony wandering the land of Azeroth; so she has to choose between a rock and a hard place. She only hopes that she doesn't regret her choice after making it.
