In a world where unicorns frequently discriminate against non-unicorns, Twilight is sent to Ponyville for a break from the stress of city life. Having been raised in a progressive unicorn household, she now comes face to face with the ugly reality of racism. Twilight soon learns that friendship is not free; it must be fought for. So she fights: for her friends and for a wider friendship between the privileged and the oppressed.

Includes multiple romantic-comedy subplots that have nothing to do with racism, which is why the story is tagged both "dark" and "comedy".

It's almost Nightmare Night, and Applejack needs some help harvesting her pumpkin patch for her family and her friends, but she can't do it on her own. So, Applejack goes to her dear friend, Rarity, for help.

After receiving endorsements from both Fancypants and Hoity Toity, Rarity’s business has taken off. It isn’t fair to Applejack, because there’s no such thing as a famous apple critic. Who else could endorse the Apple family business? Who is beloved by all, and could put Sweet Apple Acres on the map?

Why, Princess Celestia, of course! There’s just one, tiny, little problem…

Celestia… um… dislikes apples.

Fluttershy has just landed on the ground for the first time, and my goodness, everything is so different! But when and how will she get back home? And what is that wingless pony doing in the middle of nowhere?

Young Fluttershy learns that even though she can't fly well, she can do a lot of things that most pegasi can't. Just like the earth ponies. Appleshy friendship. Hopefully canon compliant.

A regular working day for the Earth pony takes an interesting turn when a crabapple falls on her noggin! Can her friends get their farmer friend back to normal? Or is Applejewel here to stay?

Big Mac has to go to Canterlot for an event which leaves Applejack to deal with the upcoming Applebuck season. Lucky for her, Twilight has agree to help and now Applejack feels that with Twilight's magic and flight; they could get the harvest done in no time at all. However, Twilight has other things in mind as she states that she is determined to help Applejack through Applebuck season without using wings or magic. Can Twilight stick with that goal and can Applejack figure out the reason why and still have time to complete the harvest?

Sometimes a good deed or a generous gift can truly go a long way: it can even form new friendships and take a pony places they weren't expecting to go. When a tragedy-stricken Applejack receives a letter in the mail, containing some money from a dear friend of hers, she sets in motion an impulsive series of events that change not only her life, but her heart.

After Twilight delivers a batch of books to Sweet Apple Acres as a gesture of goodwill, she finds that one member of the Apple Family is not interested in her offerings. Through her efforts to discover why, she inadvertently discovers Big Macintosh's most shameful secret.

Applejack has tried everything she can think of to turn things around at her family farm, but every month brings disappointing sales and further expenses. She feels the weight of responsibility for the farm and its imminent failure bearing down on her harder every day, and every failed attempt to fix things drives her deeper into depression.

Old habits kick in, and friends' searching questions are deflected, sidestepped, and eventually even answered with outright lies.

Sweet Apple Acres, the Apple family, and even the Elements of Harmony are all in greater danger than all but one mare knows, or will admit.

Earth ponies have a special connection with the land they work. It's why they are so talented when it comes to urging nature to give up her bounty. Some Earth ponies take this connection to heart. Applejack is one such mare.
