Do any of you by chance know a good 3D modeler who's up on transparent objects and such, who takes commissions? I have an idea for cover art for the story.

I've been revising and expanding this chapter for a long time, and it had reached an unwieldy size, so I found a good transition point and broke it in two. There are still two chapters to come, faithful readers. The next chapter is 'Stunted Growth.'

I spent most of the weekend revising, and I feel good enough about the second chapter (and I feel it's not in danger of being swapped around the timeline) that I decided to post it. There's some action in this installment! I hope you all enjoy it.
