It's been several months since the last time Flash had seen Twilight after he successfully apologized to her for his behavior during The Battle of the Bands! They made a promise to meet again the next time she visits.

Now it was time for the Friendship Games and he was pumped to join in to compete against their longtime rivals, The Shadowbolts from Crystal Prep! By chance, he met with Twilight again at the hallway. But Twilight acted like she never met him before in her life. Something seems off about Twilight.

And Flash was determined to find out!

This story takes place during the events of The Friendship Games from Flash's point of view.

When I was young, my dad,(my hero) took me to a lake. He wanted to teach me the wonders of nature.Okay, pops. But it was seriously a beautiful lake. I will forever remember it as a memorial to him. I would visit it every day, and a wonderful surprise was there once, one that would change my life.

The Dazzlings started this battle, and now they were intent on ending it. But in order for them to seize Equestria and the human world, they'd have to go through their final opponents: The Rainbooms.

The stage was set, the final battle was nigh, and the two musicians were ready for the duel that would decide the fate of both the worlds.

Twilight Sparkle is stressed with her new role as a princess and wishes she could go back to being a regular old unicorn.

Dawn Cracker, a unicorn living with her indebted father, wishes she had the life of a princess.

When the two meet, they discover they look a great deal alike and (of course) decide to switch places. What chaos will become of this?

After the defeat of the Dazzlings, Flash Sentry felt guilty for the cruel things he said to Twilight during the Battle of the Bands competition. He wanted to apologize to Twilight, but his guilt and not knowing how make an apology approach is what holding him back. When he heard that Twilight is once again leaving from Canterlot High, Flash knew that he must speak to Twilight before it is too late!

My head-canon of what happened sometime before the end of Rainbow Rocks.

When a threat is made against Princess Twilight Sparkle, Shining Armor gives her a guard. But because Armor doesn't want to scare his sister, the guard goes undercover to become her coltfriend. To their astonishment, it works! But what happens when the guard falls in love with the princess? (AU tag because Equestria Girls does not take place.)

This is my first real fic, so constructive criticism is welcome.

Twilight Sparkle, a new ruler in Equestria, has only been a princess for a few weeks. She just returned from an adventure in a new world that she never knew of, but she still doesn't feel ready for life as a leader. On the other hoof, Flash Sentry is just a new member of the Canterlot Royal Guard. As a member of the guard, his job is to protect the three princesses in Canterlot, as well as tour with them wherever they go. He also develops a slight crush on the princess, but is the feeling mutual? As a tradgedy falls upon Canterlot, their true feelings must be revealed to save the world!

Twilight Sparkle thought that she had felt all that happiness could offer. She had perfect friends, an amazing mentor, and even became part of the Princess monarchy. She was as happy as she could be.

Until one day the news came...

Princess Twilight Sparkle was going to be a mother. And she never knew just how beautiful being a mother could be.

This fic was inspired by the picture, and the title came from it as well. The picture and title do not belong to me. I would like to thank Hikariviny for drawing such a wonderful picture. It inspired me to write the single best thing I've ever written. I don't wanna sound modest, but this story is the one that's most likely to be featured out of all of my stories. I understand that many of you don't like that it's Flash X Twilight. It's just who the picture was related to, and I wrote it based on the picture. Please don't dislike it because of this. A newly appointed princess, Twilight Sparkle, has struck many with her beauty, but none other than Flash Sentry. An ordinary guard sworn to guard Princess Celestia and other royals with his life. Unfortunately, it is against rules to have "feelings" for anypony they protect. If Flash Sentry is caught loving Twilight, it will destroy his reputation he worked so hard to earn, and be stripped of his position as "Royal Guard".

Flash Sentry must battle his own feelings to keep the job he had worked so much for since he was a foal. As time goes on, it becomes more and more difficult to hold back his emotion and on top of this is an abusive Captain who controls the Royal Guard...

The odds of ramming face-first into the same pony twice are high enough, but by the third time you start to question if the universe is doing this on purpose.
Twilight wrestles with how do deal with her rapidly developing crush while said crush helps her find her way around the palace of the Crystal Empire. Feelings are hard, especially when you have zero prior experience with this particular sort.

This is a Flashlight fic, but it was written less as a romance and more as a character study on how Twilight behaves when she's got a crush. Cover art is mine.
