Alabaster Star of the Night Watch guard lost his wife a year ago to Diamond Dogs who broke into their home. But not just any Diamond Dogs. These Diamond Dogs claimed to be acting in the name of Nightmare Moon. His wife gone, and Alabaster fresh out of the academy, he is left alone to take care of their only daughter, Moonblaze.

A year passes, and Luna is back, claiming to be on the side of good once again. Alabaster harbors a strong hatred for the Princess of the Night, still blaming her for the death of his wife.

Alabaster doesn't know what to think when the solitary Night Guard routine he was so used to gets flipped upside down in the strangest way.

Techorse has gotten accustomed to living in Ponyville, and needs to have his castle inspected by Celestia to ensure that it's safe. Twilight, when helping him to clean up his home, suggests they use a shrink ray Techorse has invented to study objects from the perspective that insects have. But when they in conjunction with Pinkie Pie make a mistake, everything goes haywire!

The refusal of princess Twilight Sparkle to marry a noble of Luna and Celestia's choosing, and running with Flash Sentry instead, leads to the Elements of Harmony siding against the Goddesses, and the people of Canterlot choosing sides.
Now, a wounded and weakened Flash Sentry must reach Canterlot, hoping to reunite with Twilight Sparkle, who was taken by Princess Luna. In the way there, he and the Elements must fight Twilight's suitors, three Guard captains of noble blood.
Note for FlashLight haters: You'll get to read about Flash Sentry being beaten mercilessly for most of the story, so you can enjoy it too.

Little did he know, he has a different destiny that awaits him, in a land he seems to have never heard of before, nor can he remember anything before he was, well, born into the magical world of Equestria."

Months after Princess Twilight Sparkle's coronation, Princess Luna has learned to speak normal and more modern and has found a special somepony, only to have him taken from her by an unforeseen accident. But he left part of himself behind as Luna gives birth to an alicorn colt a few months after his death and Twilight's Coronation. Follow her son, Moon Dust's immortal life from the time he is but a little foal, whom everypony adores, to a rambunctious troublemaker in his kid years, and then to a brave strong alicorn stallion, defending his subjects, and the mare he loves, against the forces of evil that threaten them as a grown up.

What new adventures await him as he is taught the values of friendship? What will he learn from his experiences? And what does this reoccurring dream of some sort of machine running into him mean once he is older? Does his mom and Aunt Celestia possibly know? Only one way to find out. Please read and review.
