Long ago, two enemies destroyed one another in a fight to the death. Their spirits sealed away for the past 500 years, until an expedition released them from their prisons.

One spirit possessed a stallion, while another possessed a ninja plushie, a plushie that will soon drag a colt named Button Mash into a demon hunting adventure. Great evil stirs, and it is up to Button Mash and his cuddly killer ninja plushie to stop it!

Story inspired by Checkered Ninja, a book/movie from my home country of Denmark.

While the setup is similar, the plot is different. If you ever get a chance to see the movie, or read the books, you totally should. If you can find some in your native language.

Button Mash and Sweetie Belle have been living with each other for six months and are in need of a break. So on a whim they go to the beach for the day. On the way they discuss their future as a family and their plans. While they make their way to, and have a relaxing vacation.

Button Mash is living a good life. He is now a famous YouTuber, over millions of fan, and makes good money. Can life get any better for him? Maybe somepony came back in his life to make that happen.

Button makes a new friend who might end up being his fillyfriend

Elaina Mash, the loving and dutiful mother of Button Mash, dies after an accident in the Everfree forest. Her son, now orphaned, seeks comfort in the company of his closest and only friend.... and crush, Sweetie Belle, sister to the Element of Generosity.

Yet, one thing leads to another. Friendship leads into love, and love leads to secrets.

Daring Do's ongoing battle against Ahuizotl has come to a bitter turn. The fiendish immortal's plan hits close to home when a local singer is kidnapped to finalize his latest plan to control the sun and become a god. Daring Do must race against the clock and her own aging body to return Sweetie Belle to safety.

Button Mash's luck stays true to form as he finds himself neck-deep in the rescue effort. He's scrawny, weak, and untrained, relying on Daring Do and her crew of warriors to survive the fight. But when Sweetie's fate hangs in the balance, will he have what it takes to step up?

At the heart of it all, Sweetie Belle learns that her voice has the power to change the course of the world. As Ahuizotl tightens his grip on his victims, she might be the only hope for Equestria.

Can an adventurer past her prime, a stallion with more doubts than answers, and a singer with a heavy heart save the world?

Button Mash is the greatest hero in all of Equestria. With limitless courage and enormous strength, he emerged victorious against the final boss and the greatest threat Equestria has ever seen: a Draconequus by the name of Monotony.

Discord is more than happy to retell the story, at a sleepover he's having with some friends. If you don't like his, ahem, unique narrating, a regular version will be posted alongside it.

Contains amounts of ButtonBelle, but it's not the main focus. Don't come here if you're looking for a pure ButtonBelle fic.

The story in its entirety takes place before Crusaders of the Lost Mark. The story told by Discord (the main story) takes place between seasons 2 and 3.

Button Mash is now an adult living in Manehattan and like every other stallion he's just trying to live his life. Unfortunately for him, his life has been hitting some bumps in the road, one of which may be on his doorstep.

During a particularly snowy day off from school, Button Mash and Sweetie Belle head off and have themselves a grand walk throughout town. However, not all is well, as young Button suddenly feels the need to tell Sweetie Belle how he really feels for her.
