Whether rain pours or a storm rages, no matter the time or day of the week, or even if the destination lies far across Equestria, Derpy sees it as her duty to travel wherever she must to ensure her letters are posted to their rightful recipients.

"No letter that can be sent deserves to go undelivered, sir."

Inspired by the Violet Evergarden novels.

A thousand years ago in Equestria, Luna's frustration and desperation has been building for years and years as her social and political isolation grows, but just before Luna's jealousy and resentment can turn into murderous hatred against her sister, a new event triggars Luna's mental collapse and pushes her over the edge. When Luna by circumstance finds herself alone in Celestia's room she reads her sister's diary out of curiosity and discovers all of the disparaging criticism that Celestia has leveled at her over the years about how much of a nuisance Luna has been to her, but has been too polite to say directly to Luna's face.

Luna and Celestia had always supported and stuck with each other all their lives. Even when the common-ponies critisism and shunning of her was at its worst, the knowledge that her sister loved her kept Luna going. The realization that nopony, not even her own sister valued her or thought she was fit for the throne completely shattered whatever remained of her fragile psyche.

And so Luna just gave up...

She gave in...

If no one wanted her there...

Then she wouldn't stay there...

She would leave.

Celestia had always been hardworking, she had always loved her job. She loved being a princess and everything about it- the power, the responsibility even. And most importantly, she loved that everyone adored her.

Celestia loved her sister. But when a pony loves two things, she’s bound to protect one over the other. And so, she did. Her sister wasn’t “banished to the moon”, contrary to common belief; she was dead.

Celestia believed she was a horrible sister, a awful person.

And of course, Luna comes back to tell her that.

Spike is a dragon who was raised by ponies. Rarity is one of the most successful fashionistas in all of Equestria. This is the story about how a certain drake won the heart of his special lady and the lives they build with each other. Many challenges await our intrepid heroes, from threats to Equestria to the matters of the heart.

(The story will mostly be Sparity, but like a newly opened harbor they'll be more ships in future. Would hate to make anyone feel left out.)

This story is a sequel to Why Not A Princess Instead?

There's never been a wedding Rarity didn't like. She loves to attend them, plan them, be part of them, and had always dreamed she'd have her own someday. The childhood dreams of a white gown as she gave her hand to a handsome prince held a special place in her heart, even when such thoughts could easily seem childish in the face of reality.

Yet, in the strangest of ways, she has her wish. Yes, a prince became a princess -THE Princess- but the rest of it can now be exactly the same. The fairy-tale romance of Rarity and Princess Celestia is finally seeing fruition and she can hardly wait to walk down that aisle and make the vows she'd longed for all her life.

The only obstacle? Planning the wedding.

Rated T for occasional moments of steaminess

"Spike, dear? This isn't working."
"What isn't?"
"This, Spike. Us."

After a second date cut short, Spike spends a night out on the town (read: seedy bar) with Big Mac to commiserate the loss. After deciding that he wanted a final snack before bed, he heads to the best bakery in town to find something to take the edge off of his buzz.

Think of this as a spiritual successor to The Days Passed, in the same family as the premise of the first one: Who would Spike seek out after a break with Rarity? This time, instead of ending up on Fluttershy's doorstep, he finds himself at Pinkie Pie's. And this time, it will be more focused on the character growth of Spike while keeping up with the relationship growth between the ship. I hope it lives up to the standards that TDP grew to have, and I had for it :moustache:
