It's been ten years since the blackout. We've all depended on the magic that the Unicorns and the Princesses had. One night, however, every horn just, stopped working.
Levitation spells stopped working, teleportation was unavailable, and worst of all, the Princesses no longer had control over the Sun and Moon.
Panic set about Equestria.
The society fell, as the Princesses mysteriously left; their fate unknown by the citizens of Ponyville.
Those who were lucky, got out of the town.
Soon however, leftover Royal Guards from both Celestia's and Luna's military assimilated together to create militias to rule over the survivors.

This is the journey of Twilight Sparkle, and how she saved her brother from the militias, with the help of her uncle, Evening Star.

One the day of a school trip to the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, Hikari and Valiant, two young pegasi sneak into the Factory's lower depths. There they discover a shocking secret, and a familiar pegasus who is being held against her will.

Twilight and Applejack make a confession, hoping they will be accepted by their friends. Rainbow Dash horrifies them all by reacting not only with shock but hatred against the "unnatural acts"

Twilight suspects there's more to Rainbow's attitude than meets the eye.

When the library receives a letter from Celestia asking for the assistance of the Elements of Harmony, Twilight gathers her friends for a mission to face a dangerous foe. But what will happen when this problem is much bigger than Twilight expected, and will leave her helpless, at the mercy of the monster's claws?

This is my first attempt at a Horror story.

Pinkie was alone. Everypony in Ponyville was dead. She couldn't remember what happened. Blood was absolutly everywhere, and she couldn't remember why. So she tried looking for her friends, but only found horrifing memories.

There was a time where ponies paid no heed to me, and I was content with that.

There was a time where all I had to comfort me were my books, and I was content with that, too.

Until I wanted more. Until I wanted someone to pull me from my loneliness, but none of the Crystal ponies would understand my social awkwardness. I'd be shunned and cast aside. So I read.

I read, searching for a friend...

But I found only a monster.
