While many ponies see Daring Do as the bravest pony to ever live, whether it be in a book or in real life, few have seen her for who she truly is. Explore Daring's past, from her family to the events that have led up to present day and follow one pony in particular as he finds out how the fabled 'fearless explorer Daring Do' isn't so fearless after all.

The last part of my Remembrance series! (The other four fics are available on my profile) Longest fic yet and I'm very proud on how it turned out. As this is the 5th fic of the first collection of the Remembrance fics, I will be taken a short break and not release another Remembrance-based fanfic for a while.

Daring Do chases after the legendary Golden Muffin, a long-lost artifact from the days before the first Hearth's Warming Eve. A lone, cold earth pony was said to have transcribed the greatest of culinary secrets onto a giant golden muffin before succumbing to the freezing winds of the Wendigo.

This fanfiction is her story.

Daring Do, the legendary treasure-hunter, having recently retrieved her latest artifact, now has to face her rather awkward family.

The second book (my first story) of the thrilling adventures of Daring Do. After weeks of restless recovery Daring Do is given the opportunity to travel in search of the legendary Griffon's Goblet. In order to find the relic she must travel in to the heart of the griffon homelands, a place that she is mistrusted and seen as a general menace to all of griffonkind because of a small incident in her past.

Written in a more serious style the first in a (hopefully) long run of stories that will take Daring to all corners of the MLP globe introducing new adventures, races and a serious amount of head canon.

Update 26/06/2012: Edited to fix grammar, prose and a couple concepts that didn't quite work during the reread and the fleshing out of others. The over all story remains the same.

A friend of mine on DA told me I should write a fic about Dash writing a self-insert fiction about her meeting up with her hero. I thought it sounded like a funny idea and decided to scribble it out.

In this story, the young archaeologist pony Daring Do teams up with an expedition seeking the ancient ruins of Zenith- a temple wrapped in South Equestrian mythology that has never been seen in recorded history. Plans for the expeditions all go to pieces as another party seeking to find the ruins for their own reasons soon present themselves: The Gryphons.

Aggressive and militaristic, the Gryphons seek the ruins to show that their species ruled over the continent during early history, proving their species' superiority. The interaction between the ponies and the gryphons does not go well, and Daring is left on her own, alone in the jungle. Will she be able to get back to safety? Will she be able to rescue her captive comrades? Just what are the trials of Zenith? Find out in this thrilling tale.
