When two ponies jobs both involve bars, it's inevitable that they meet, right?
That's what you would think... except one involves beer, and the other involves baritones. Though, when Celestia's 457th orchestra's attendance begins to run exceptionally low, it is up to Octavia to find out, with a surprising amount of help where she least expects it: everypony's favorite Wubmaster, Vinyl Scratch.

After a visit from two of the Apple siblings, Rarity seems to be taken by the silent stallion. But can she actually prove to Big Mac that she's not a delicate pony?

After traveling Equestria and finding no place she belongs Trixie returns to the one place that felt different; Ponyville. She has chosen to swallow a little (just a little) bit of her pride in order to ask the only pony to ever have impressed her for help. She wants Twilight Sparkle to become her teacher in magic...and in the ways of friendship. She hopes to improve herself, but she keeps having these second thoughts...

This story is told while alternating viewpoints between Trixie and Twilight Sparkle. The ~~~~ symbolizes a perspective change.

Rarity finds out what she was missing out on when Spike begins to bother her less and less. When she makes a move on Spike, unknowing of his and Twilight's relationship, tension rises and relationships break. Now, will Rarity be able to fix what has been broken before lives are changed forever?
