The nation of Equestria has been exploring their little slice of the universe for some time now. From launching probes into deep space, to landing ponies on the moon. Sending things beyond the grasp of their planet has become almost routine. However, with every mission into space, there comes a time when the voyage must end. What happens when Equestria experiences the end of a voyage that they didn't begin?

The Sauromachy.

The ancient war between mammal kind and the reptilian saurian race. A war that nopony, save perhaps Princess Luna and her sister, remember. The saurians are long gone, their empire ground into the dust, cities toppled, and memories scattered. Even their immortal emperor is just a ghost of what he once was, forced to watch the march of history play out.

This is the story of how an empire ended and how a ruler became a watcher.

Originally written for the Lunaverse's Something Ends, Something Begins writing event. A (very) distant prequel to Past Remnants.

Mounty Max was a simple stallion happy to be he Mayor of the town of Sadlzburg on the northern border of Equestria. It came as quite a surprise when his town was made the capital of the new province of Nulpar and he was ennobled as it's Baron.

These are the adventures of Max and his goat assistant Mrs Grobnar as they try to survive the dangers of the night court of Equestria. On the way Max just might find him self a very special somepony in the form of Duchess Fragrant Posey of Cloudsdale. Together maybe they can return light to the corrupt heart of Equestria's government.

While trapped in another world waiting for Trixie to recover Ditzy gets to know the version of herself and her daughter that lives there. Are they better or worse off than she is? Can she learn anything from the path their lives have taken?

It's Dinky's birthday, not only that this year she got her cutie mark, she's really growing up. Her mother couldn't be happier, right?

So why does Ditzy find herself feeling a little maudlin as she thinks about her daughter and what the future might bring. Could she be growing up to fast? Will there be a day when she doesn't need her mother any more? Could that day be just around the corner?

One foggy morning in Ponyville, the residents wake up to find their deepest darkest secrets sloppily written in red paint on their homes. No one knows who the culprit was, the only thing that the town knows is that it will not come off, no matter how hard you scrub. The town is baffled, humiliated, and in shambles. But no more than Twilight and her friends.

In a time where everything you fought to keep hidden is out into the open, will you embrace your faults or sins, or will you let them consume just who you really are?

Time to fess up, Ponyville.

Which eventually landed his current, long-term assignment: “Her registry is Specimen 25467, but she likes the name Flora.”
“Your primary mission is the typical for an Intelligence soldier like you: Keep the secret from becoming public.”
“Your secondary mission is why we selected a soldier who had maintained his humanity despite his line of work: the only alien life form known to humanity needs a friend.”

And he became so much more than a friend: Flora needed a father.

While I have made this story approachable without having read "All American Girl", this story is a reply to the AAG May Story Challenge. If you like my story, you'll love the original.
