Idol Hooves holds a special place in Equestria. He's probably the only exiled changeling to serve in the Royal Guard, or at least, that's what he expects, as exiles don't really broadcast that fact. However, it's well known that Princess Celestia loves all of her little ponies, and her guards perhaps more so, and that makes it one of the best ways for a changeling to discreetly feed.

But how does a changeling even get there, let alone get exiled in the first place? For that matter, why would it ever go to Canterlot? Set a number of years before the series proper, before Luna’s redemption, Idol details how he was exiled, the ponies he’s met, and the series of misadventures that led him to joining the Royal Guard, and should continue a good ways into the series, as something of an alternate perspective.

Soon, he’ll have to deal with a boisterous new princess to serve and a royal wedding in the works bringing a third to power. Will his old instincts bring this new life crashing down around him? What precipitates Chrysalis’s ill-fated assault on Canterlot? Is it really so wrong for a changeling to enjoy good craftsmanship to an obsessive degree?

She tripped getting out of bed and landed flat on her face, giving herself an aching muzzle.
She forgot to buy her favorite brand of hay flakes at the store yesterday and had to eat plain toast for breakfast.
She found out she had to pull double-duty today and tomorrow on the weather patrol.
Oh, and she found a nearly-dead foal, broken and bleeding at the edge of Ponyville.

The rest of her day became a whirlpool of stress and worry but the colt woke up, thank Celestia.
Something's not right, though. Nopony can find his parents, he's not in the registers, and there's an unsettling look in his eye...

Nikolas Memphis is a diligent follower to the legendary pokemon Giratina. After a fight with a creature sent by Arceus which ends up taking the life of his husband and adopted child. Giratina decides to give Nikolas a new mission until he is done grieving. That mission? Go to another world she will send him to and spread her name there. Giratina only knew of the side effect on sending him there being Nikolas would loose his anthropomorphic stature and become a hybrid between a espeon and the dominant specie in the new world. What none of them expected, was for Nikolas to be transformed into a child upon arriving in that new world. Now, we follow his trek in that world, which ends up being Equestria as he spread the name of Giratina, and maybe even change some part of the future for that world.

Sex tag is for mild mentions, mentioned disgusting sexual acts done by secondary characters, and some rare jokes around it. First appears in chapter 2.

So Squirrel was just doing a Lethal Company recording with his friends: Delirious, Cartoonz, and Kyle. It was just a simple recording until a weird event made him disappear from his room. He's now in a weird place that makes him question: "How did he get here?"

Well, now he's gotta find out and meet some weird Horses and Horse town. What could possibly happen? Who knows, but Squirrel wasn't expecting this, neither were the Horses.

With preparations for the inevitable Changeling Invasion requiring more and more sacrifice from Equestria's previously unshakable ethos of pacifism and friendship, Twilight has taken a role as Celestia's, now Daybreaker, closest advisor and assistant.

She had not been prepared for what these tasks would require of her.
No longer able to reconcile her harmonic ideals with her current actions, Twilight has cut off contact with her closest friends to avoid hurting them... and herself.

But, as her unfortunate personal bodyguard is about to find out, Ponies were not meant to carry their burdens alone.

Nearly a year after arriving in Equestria, Anon has been turned into a bat-pony by accident. Now one of the general populace Anon will go on adventures causing mayhem wherever he goes.

So basically the same thing he did before becoming a horse.

Thousands of years ago before Discord's imprisonment, a dark mage of unknown origins was brought into the fold of Equestrians growing government. Now, Princess Luna calls for the aid of Princess Cadence in hope to return the mage to the side of harmony.

Problem is... He's kind of a jackass

Celestia awakens in a strange new place, her back aching with throbbing pain. The diagrams on the wall look like spines, but not pony ones. Was that a place to find help, or was something far more worrying afoot?

First day as a royal guard, rather, first night, Platinum Star finished his training and got ready for his shift. He enjoyed sleeping, so staying awake at night would be a challenge. Well, at least he wouldn’t be dealing with tourists every second like some of the morning guards were.

His first week had officially started, and he was half excited and half worried. Who knew what was in store for him for the next 7 days.

Working as a night guard had its perks, such as the desirable quietness of the night. Better yet, no-pony ever came through the Canterlot Archives at night, unless they were supposed to be there. He just wished he could get some more sleep, though.

Unfortunately for Platinum, he’d soon be the rookie every guard was talking about, all thanks to one alicorn. If no-pony saw anything wrong with him to begin with, that is.
