Starlight Glimmer is many things. Master of the arcane arts, Headmare of the School of Friendship, Savior of Equestria, and a truly fantastic friend to those she holds dear. Apparently, according to Trixie and Sunburst, she's also an awesome marefriend. There is, of course, one big problem with that theory: How can you be an awesome marefriend if you don't even know you're dating your best friends in the first place? Starlight may or may not need to add "Romantically Inept Doofus" to her list of titles.

specifically, I fell asleep shortly after finishing writing this story as recounted in the following text I sent my girlfriend and Mom in between waking up and publishing this story:

"well this time I made it within 15 minutes of my destination before having to pull off the freeway directly into a Denny's parking lot where I tossed and turned for 2 hours of fitful napping where I dreamt I was an extra with a small important role on set continuously unsure if I was actually scheduled to be there that day and aware in dream that if I was it must have meant I double booked with the lantern festival I failed to make it to.

kept waking up and then falling back to sleep. finally managed to stay awake this time and I'm now taking a shit in the Denny's restroom and ordered a smoothie and then I'm going to go to the nearby library and hop on the computer and try to get Orange County Medicare so I can get The wakey wakey drugs I need because this is ridiculous I shouldn't be this tired all the time"

for context this was on 800 mg of caffeine. I recently have been needing over 2,000 mg of caffeine too stay awake and be productive. which I'm pretty sure is not healthy. I took a nap with two and a half grams of caffeine in my body the other day. I'm pretty sure that's not normal. I really got to get back on ADHD meds And also do that take home sleep study I have. I hope I don't have cancer or something

but hey, as always with Denny's smoothies, the Denny's smoothie was delicious.

Starlight Glimmer is mastering the power of transformation and has been taking studies with twilight. However, during her stay, she also set up a date with modeling dresses for Rarity and is now in a predicament of needing to be in two places at once. But that doesn't stop her from coming up with an interesting solution by transforming Sunburst into a copy of herself. But without realizing the modeling job was a bit more then what Sunburst anticipated...

Will these two fillies be able to find a way to stop the Crystal Empire from being engulfed in snow? Why IS Cozy helping Flurry in the first place? And how did all of this happen?!

After Equestria almost fell at the hooves of Cozy Glow, Twilight Sparkle visited the filly in Tartarus multiple times. She had been talking to her, tried to get to the bottom of why she almost singlehoofedly brought down Equestria by manipulating her fellow friendship students and attempting to banish all of its magic into another realm.
But no matter how often she asked or how much she probed for an underlying reason behind all this, Equestria's youngest enemy only kept reiterating that friendship is nothing but power for her.
Cozy Glow was a special case. But she wouldn't be the Princess of Friendship if she were to give up on a struggling friendship student. Maybe she really was not able to teach Cozy Glow the true values of friendship and neither were her five closest friends. But maybe others could succeed where they have failed.

And so, Twilight goes and assembles a team of ponies and creatures to teach Cozy Glow about Friendship, Villainy, Betrayal and the struggle to choose between Good and Evil.
The only catch was that Tartarus' security level has been increased.
But that's what letters are for.
