Right after the events of the sonic rainboom, it is decided that Spike the newly hatched dragon is to be sent to live with his own kind, but with all the negative relations with the dragons, it was bound to cause trouble, the guard tasked with the transport of the whelp decides why risk his flank, so he flies to the Everfree Forest and deposits the baby. But he is unaware that he flew over 5 little fillies who all happened to making their way to the small village at the forests edge.

They see the guard leave the poor defenseless baby in the forest, so they retrieve him, but this has its consequences. Spike who started out with no family, now has 5 mommies.

Spitfire, Soarin and Fleetfoot have been working on a new trick called "The Triad Drive" A complex trick that not many trios of pegasi can accomplish. If not performed right, it can leave disastrous consequences on the performers. After the Triad Drive goes wrong, the three wonderbolts land safely as foals. The first one to notice this is Rainbow Dash, and she gladly decides to take care of them until a cure can be found/made. But when it's confirmed that there is no cure, Rainbow Dash will have to do the best she can on raising the three Wonderbolt Captains. Expect foalish fun and foalish things!

Sombra's takeover took everyone in the Crystal Empire by surprise. No one saw it coming, none were prepared for it, and almost no one got away. Almost.

A few hooffuls of daring souls managed to break out of the city and flee southwards, towards Equestria. Some ran to beg the Princesses for aid, others - just to save themselves and their families from the mad tyrant.

But as the refugees are about to learn, it's the dead of winter outside the Empire's shield, and the crystal ponies are far too used to their warm life in the city. One filly that gets separated from her parents while trying to get away learns that fact all too painfully...

The bad news is Fluttershy lost the ability to talk and is now miles away from her home, so unless she wants to be a bat pony forever, she'll have to find a way to make it back to Ponyville and find Twilight.
