Graduation was supposed to be a happy day for the Rainbooms. Sunset and Princess Twilight had both agreed to temporarily shut the portal to Equestria so they could leave CHS safe and sound while they went on a post-graduation band tour. However, instead of SHUTTING the portal, they somehow made it explode, shattering the multiverse and scattering the Rainbooms across countless different universes. Now, Sunset Shimmer finds herself face-to-face with creatures straight out of dreams and nightmares, from the pages of legend to the screen of cinema.

Her best chance to reunite with her friends and get home: a self-proclaimed "Giant Nerd" and his old jalopy of a car, both of which are native to a world of silent observers of the multiverse, including her own life with the Rainbooms. Between his guidance and her courage, the two of them are determined to reunite the Rainbooms and get them back home...

Even if that means facing ink demons, xenomorphs, genocidal time-looping children, or even Egyptian god cards.

Though she goes in searching for what could be the greatest find of her entire career, in the end, she gets much more than the bargained for.

Being locked in a small, confined house for several hours wouldn't be so bad, if there was a bathroom to use. And Pinkie Pie needs to go badly.

When an old ruin is unearthed under Ponyville, it will take the boldest and most adventurous of ponies to dare sound its depths. Daring Do knows she's such a pony.

So what if she's eight and a half, and Dad says she can't go? That's a big age to reach, and he doesn't have to find out. So what if millennia-old dangers and secrets lurk in the darkness? That's the point of adventures.

She's got a saddlebag full of useful tools, countless stories telling her what ought to happen, and her Mom's old helmet. You don't need much more for your first adventure than that.

Zecora is distressed when she hears from her mother that the sinister magic of voodoo has been sensed in her home village, and there could be a dark curse unleashed upon the land. It is up to Twilight and Rainbow to aid Zecora in her endeavor, and save the zebras from evil.

But little do they expect that they would run into Equestria's greatest treasure hunter, who would guide them through the dark swamps and the hypnotic reach of voodoo.
