January 15th, 2014. A veil of light spans across the United States of America. As the citizens stare in amazement at what is certainly a once in a lifetime phenomenon, the entire country is ripped physically out of its place on Earth and sent to a new world, a world known as Equus. Now with 312 million Humans and their country trapped in completely unknown territory with no way home, they must do what Humanity has done for centuries that has allowed it to become a force of nature. To make a long backstory short, I died. Kinda. It's hard to describe. But at least my friend came along with me.

You know that dreadful feeling when you know you're dying, or are about to? ... Well, that happened for me. It was on a dark road at night during a snow-stormy school trip, when it happened. We were halfway through being hit by the front of a heavy goods truck after losing our footing in the snow.

Instead of dying, I'm blinded by a weird silvery yet rainbow coloured flash of light before appearing in another forest. I'm not sure where I am, but one thing's for sure; this isn't any forest I knew of, let alone the animals around me. That's when a strange, living pile of sticks and logs notices my unconscious friend nearby, something strange happens and I lose consciousness all in one go.

I feel trapped and tired, until I'm vaguely aware of an unusually very soft-spoken, female voice over the top of some other voices as my hearing returns.

" --irls? I think I found somthing you should look at."
"Sweet Celestia! Who... or what are they?!"
"Oh dear, they're not looking so go--"
And that's where our story begins, arriving in a foreign world, barely conscious to a group of girls who have saved us. And that's not the only surprise in stock either.

It turns out that the magical land of Equestria is not a flat plane covered by a bowl of stars after all. This is big news to Queen Chrysalis. If the moon is actually a place, then she can travel there, claim its magical energies, and finally get revenge on Celestia, Twilight Sparkle, and everypony else.

Of course, there are problems. One problem is that everypony else is also rushing to get into space. Another problem is that Chrysalis really has no idea how to do it. Fortunately a certain earth pony with a taste for cherries is willing to help... provided she gets to fly the ship, and provided Chrysalis keeps the space program honest and open and legal.

Together, Chrysalis, Cherry Berry, and a horde of brave-but-dumb changelings will make world history... or, more likely, they'll make a lot of really big explosions.

Long story short, I was a brony. I woke up one day to find myself in Spike's body. Dream come true, right? I'm in Equestria, I could interact with my favorite ponies, etc.

Well, as it turns out, I just happened to wake up right at the beginning of Season 1. Which could only mean one thing: I can change the future of Equestria. I could solve problems prematurely, prevent disasters from happening, and keep Twilight from going insane.

So now, my mission isn't to hug my favorite ponies, but to make sure everyone gets a happy life.

This is an alternate dimension adventure featuring Sunset Shimmer. When she gets banished from Equestria, she is invited to join a team and starts a journey with them to find the way back to Equestria.
