For now, all seems to be going well: they've managed to hide themselves away on Cotton's little farm and share something of a life together. It´s a snowy day in Ardennes; An American officer and his soldiers were keeping watch when a German attack commences. It´s the beginning of the 'Battle of the Bulge'. The battle goes on, he is soon taken out by a tank´s shot that fell close to his position. The moment he wakes up, the officer finds out that he is no longer in Ardennes anymore.... soon he learns something else... It is no longer Earth.

A German soldier advances against the americans as soon as he hears the order of attack. Explosions engulf all around as a tank explodes, making him lose consciousness. When he finally wakes up, he finds an angry American officer pointing at him, the sun high up in the sky, and everything green all around. That´s when the question arises on his mind... Where is he???

If they ever want to see their home again, they'll have to work together, searching this strange new world for a return worldgate. But while return portals are numerous, finding one that's safe enough to get them back alive is another matter entirely.

Hi, my name is Ditzy Doo. Many of you know me as the author of the 'Wasteland Survival Guide'. For 200 years I wandered the Equestrian Wasteland, and through those experiences I gained the knowledge that I shared with everypony through the Guide. Now, it's time to tell my side of the story.

Luna awakens in the aftermath of the great war in a robotic body that she is unfamiliar with. after being shown what has become of Equestria, She resolves to bring back order and save Equestria's people from themselves.

Let's hope there is even anything left to save.

Idol Hooves holds a special place in Equestria. He's probably the only exiled changeling to serve in the Royal Guard, or at least, that's what he expects, as exiles don't really broadcast that fact. However, it's well known that Princess Celestia loves all of her little ponies, and her guards perhaps more so, and that makes it one of the best ways for a changeling to discreetly feed.

But how does a changeling even get there, let alone get exiled in the first place? For that matter, why would it ever go to Canterlot? Set a number of years before the series proper, before Luna’s redemption, Idol details how he was exiled, the ponies he’s met, and the series of misadventures that led him to joining the Royal Guard, and should continue a good ways into the series, as something of an alternate perspective.

Soon, he’ll have to deal with a boisterous new princess to serve and a royal wedding in the works bringing a third to power. Will his old instincts bring this new life crashing down around him? What precipitates Chrysalis’s ill-fated assault on Canterlot? Is it really so wrong for a changeling to enjoy good craftsmanship to an obsessive degree?

I was driving home one evening and my car runs out of gas. So I try to get more, but as I was walking to the gas station, I get zapped by a purple lightning bolt and end up in a world of talking ponies. How did this happen? And why does this world look awfully familiar, like it's some sort of kids cartoon? Well, I am stuck here for while...maybe more than a while actually.
