Finding that she cannot get a stallion to stay with her for any significant period of time, Rarity wonders if maybe she is looking in the wrong place. She finds that Rainbow Dash has many qualities that she finds desirable in a partner, which causes her to realize that she may have a crush on Rainbow. After thinking it over, Rarity decides she must make some sort of move on Rainbow; but, due to the fact that she has no experience with mares of any kind, she becomes determined to win Dash's heart through grand, cheesy, romantic gestures that may not always be realistic... or something that Rainbow Dash would appreciate.

Ever since the Best Young Fliers Competition, where Rainbow Dash bravely took her in her arms and saved her life, Rarity has been rather infatuated with the Pegasus, no matter how hard she may try to deny it to herself. When Rainbow Dash came around to have her Nightmare Night costume fixed Rarity's feeling rose to the surface once again. There and then she made a decision. No more hiding. No more secrets. Tonight was the night she would put everything on the line to steal Rainbow Dash's heart. One bright, springtime day, Rarity is appalled and perplexed to see her friends having a party at Sugar Cube Corner without her. She retires, in tears, to her home, only to be saved from her grief by Rainbow Dash, who states that they had, in fact, given her an invitation.

Why wasn't the invitation in Rarity's mailbox? The friends set out on a mission to reveal the mastermind behind all this, expecting some silly foal; the real discovery, however, turns out to be much more sinister. Fighting confusion about their feelings for each other and their other friends, Rarity and Rainbow Dash must find a way to remedy the situation, for the sake of their friendship and the safety of all of Equestria.

Decades after getting married,the aging Anthea is saying her final farewells. Turquoise, her husband, isn't coping well with it. But at the time of her death, her last request is for him to move on. Struck with grief, Turquoise sadly and slowly begin to keep their promise. And there is one mare that is willing to help him in this time of sorrow and grief......

After a horrifying accident involving lightning, Princess Twilight Sparkle is left blind. Rainbow Dash starts to blame herself for Twilight's loss of vision and gets depressed. The two Elements of Harmony will never be the same. But with a loss, something is gained. Something far better that vision. Love.

A few month ago, Rainbow Dash found Twilight stargazing up on the balcony of Golden Oaks library. Ever since then she's come back, every night, and listened to Twilight's lectures on everything astronomy.

Twilight never found out why Rainbow came to the library that first night, but when she makes an unusual request one night, she discovers more than she thought she would about her pegasus friend.
