Applejack and Rainbow Dash are preparing to get married. When filly Twilight asks Celestia to tell her a bedtime story, the Princess is not prepared for the many memories that float to the surface once she is asked this. She mainly remembers a small filly just like Twilight, who also asked for bedtime stories many years ago.

Fights between siblings are a part of life. Being the father that has to comfort a crying filly, is also a part of life.

I debated on updating this or changing it or even not posting it, but a quick google search showed that a lot of people still remember this (bad) fan fiction of mine and wondered where it went. Therefore, I'm posting it here unaltered so you won't have to dig around for it anymore.

Applejack is facing a dilemma. She's been asked a question by her best friend that she doesn't know how to respond to:

“Applejack, do you want to go on a date?!"

She decides to ask her friends for help, one by one, and learns more about herself and the connection she and Rainbow Dash share together.

Applejack gets hypothermia from staying outside in record cold temperatures, and while Rainbow Dash is visiting her in the hospital, Dash decides to tell AJ something that she should have done long ago.
