Author's Note

Hello, Everypony,

I hope you have enjoyed "Saddlebags, Sun, and On the Run". My only goal was to tell a fun story, and to engage the reader in the hope that they might find it a nice diversion from the day to day stress of life. Whether you love the story, like it a lot, or merely like it a little (that's a joke. I know everyone loved it unconditionally), it is my gift to you.

That said, I'd like to thank everyone who read it, everyone who critiqued it, and all those who gave me a chance to entertain them. It has been a pleasure to serve you in some way.

So, to finish up, all of my best, don't hesitate to leave comments on FimFiction.net, and know that someday, sometime, there will be more. That's either a promise or a threat, depending upon how you liked the story. ;)

All of my love,
The Lotus Tea Dragon

The story is now complete. I hope you all enjoy the last chapter!

Thank you so very much, everyone! (also, error in italics fixed :twilightsheepish:)

I'm glad you enjoyed the story. It was so much fun to do, and I felt I had to end it on a truly happy note.
Does it count if I was tearing up when I wrote it?

All my love!

Enjoyed it? :ajbemused:

... Enjoyed it?

Well, let's just say, that is an understatement for me. Your story is awesome, and you should feel awesome.

Until next time, Lotus! :ajsmug:

Thank you, Roughhouse! I really appreciate that! It makes my day. :twilightsheepish:

Also, if anyone is interested, the song Johnneigh Cash is singing in the last chapter there is called "I Love You Because".
You can watch it on Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQgk5r_LsJg

So sad, that this has all come to an end. Great story.

Aw, thanks, Rawrtastic. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. :twilightblush:
Still, as they say, there is an end to everything, to good things as well. I still have future story plans, though, so keep me around every so often.

the "d'aw factor" broke it was so cute! i LOVED Rainbow Dash's proposal! and reading the last paragraph made me cry cuz i know there wont be anymore updates with this story :( but i am VERY glad i read both of your stories! thank you so much for the amazing stories! i CAN NOT wait to see what you do next! til next time!
:ajsmug:

Well, that was fucking fantastic.

And believe me, were it not 2:30 AM, I'd have far more eloquent praise for you.

Thank you for reading my stories, Shadowstepp. I hope I continue to entertain you in the future.

Right on, The Writer of Fate. I wanted to make sure Spike got his chance to crow. :pinkiehappy:

Aw, now I'm blushing. Thanks BronyNeumo, I'm glad you enjoyed my story.

Excellent! My plan has succeeded! :trollestia:
Seriously, though, glad you liked it, dlazerous!

1903024 - Not specifically. In this case, it's just Twilight being ultra-prepared against unlikely situations. :twilightblush:

When I saw it said this is the sequel to clouds seeds and apple trees, I heartgasmed
That was my favorite story of all time, and I can tell this will be great too! :yay: (haven't started reading yet)

1945945 - If you're referring to what happened under the table, well, Applejack's ticklish and, well, sometimes when you're very ticklish, and somepony tickles you even though you're begging for them to stop, things happen... leaks happen...

Applejack peed herself. :rainbowwild:
That's what you get when you don't wear clothing! :rainbowkiss:

If it's something else, I'd be glad to help you find the answer, but I think it was probably the "made her laugh til she tinkled" moment.

Most excellent! This was a truly kick-ass cool story that drew me in and held on tight. I highly enjoyed every believable moment of it and only wish there was more! :twilightsheepish:

2073979 - Thank you, raw19! I am glad you liked it. This story came about from my desire to continue the universe where Applejack and Rainbow Dash are together. I wasn't going to say anything, but I've already began work on the third installment, and I hope you will enjoy it, too, when I begin publishing it in a few weeks.

2074209 Not at all. I'm always happy to review a great story and i'll be looking forward to that third installment. Hmmm....which reminds me. i actually jumped on the bandwagon with 'Saddlebags' here, so i should really go back and read the first story. :pinkiegasp:

2074296 - Oh! Well, yes, then you should snap to it! :twilightsheepish:

I thought las Pegasus was similar to las vagus! Huh? Neat!!!:rainbowhuh:

Firstly, I apologize to anyone to whom I have not responded! I did not know "Saddlebags" had received any comments since my last one above! Clearly an error on my part, please forgive that oversight! I cherish every comment I receive for my stories!

2171531 - I'm glad you loved it, Brightheart! I hope you will like "Orange and Blue, I Do" as well.

2204457 - Thank you, SolidFire! I'll check out "Family Mares." As for Violet getting her own story, oh she most certainly will. My next project won't be focused on her, but I do have work in the offing that has her as the central character. :raritywink:

2407643 - Well, I had trouble deciding on whether I wanted "Los Pegasus" to mean "Las Vegas" as so many in the fandom do, or whether to use "Los Angeles" instead, as the official map shows it to be. I ended up going with Los Angeles as the setting. Sometimes I wonder, though, if it would have been more fun set in Vegas. Thank you for the comment, Cresentmoon!

2939799 - When it comes to Spike, was there ever any doubt? :trixieshiftright:
Regarding Dash's parents, I believe they have. In the story, it seems they weren't objecting out of hatred, but out of ignorance. They simply didn't know, didn't understand, and once they realized that not only was their daughter very happy, but that she was stronger, more secure with Applejack, they let go of their fears and ignorance. Thank you for the comment, AjandRd.

2960910 - A hundred likes! Thank you to everyone who liked my story, and thank you to appledash348 for being the hundredth one. :ajsmug::rainbowwild:

2961137 your quit welcom, and by the way, best story ever, I've added it onto my favorits

2968715 - Nah. I have a country accent, myself, though it's faded a bit over time.

2971450 - I don't always name my chapters after awesome songs, but when I do, they are awesome. :ajsmug:

On to the third!!! Really good story by the I liked and faved.

2972169 - Thank you! I hope you enjoy the third installment! :rainbowwild:

3564410 - You know how catty Rarity can be at times. I made sure of it in this story. :raritywink:

4507350 - Well, I adore Pinkie, and I think with her point of view, even the worst situation just requires fun, laughter, and a party, to resolve everything. She does get deep, but it takes something significantly bad to get through to her.

5216063 - I'm glad you like it, Blazin Blu!

5303593 - Thank you so much, Mermerus! Your mind was not playing tricks on you, her name is used in full throughout. I was still getting a feel for the writing, and so for some reason in my head I just kept using her full name and it was being put down on the paper, as it were. Yes, you are right about the ending. In this case, I was exhausted. It was (and still is) the longest story I had written, and I wanted to wrap it up. Honestly, if I would have waited another couple of days, to let my mind rest on the idea, I would have finished it with them at home.

5537048 - Thank you, star shine sadin, he did get better. :)

5778700 - Yeah, I was definitely drawing from a real life event in this chapter. :ajsmug:

7270366 - That may be the best compliment I could possibly receive. Thank you, Dash32. :pinkiehappy:

7457556 I see what you're saying. Without the kissing it could really have a chance in the series.

7973955 - True, but as we've seen, Twilight occasionally dismisses outliers because she is that certain of her findings. This kind of shortsightedness has bit her in the behind before, "Lesson Zero" being a prime example of what happens when she doesn't do the math all the way to completion. :twilightsheepish:

I'm glad I was able to help, intentionally or not. Don't feel too bad, you replied to all of my comments like greased lightning.

9412479 - For some reason, Fimfiction notifies me about those, but you're welcome. :pinkiehappy:

There's nothing to apologize for. I appreciate that I was included in this apology/response, but I didn't think it was important enough to get more than a Like. However, it does mean a lot to me that you, and other writers, take the time to reply at all. It means even more to me that you feel strongly enough to feel guilty about something most people don't care about. While I personally believe that fan-content creators should create for fun (so long as the creations in question aren't commissions), I still admire fan-content creators who care about what the more passive members of the community think and feel while keeping themselves motivated enough to keep writing in spite of criticism and creative blocks. Thank you for writing.

10378925
I sincerely appreciate that. :D

10379565
Thank you, Applespike forever! I always feel good when people enjoy my stories!

I apologize for the lateness of my reply. I never received notifications for these and I am now attempting to catch up.
