It's Hearts and Hooves Day and once again Applejack finds herself uninterested in the festivities. This year, however, Applejack is shocked to hear a strange voice "in the sky" that narrates her life and is pressuring her into romantic feelings for Rarity. Applejack is at the mercy of this unknown source as she is pulled to carousel boutique to seal her fate with Rarity in one sweet simple kiss.

“Aaaaah, there it is. I know that smile!” Cadence said, with a slight smirk of triumph. “Act all about being the Queen of Cool that you want. Never giving an inch. I can tell what you really feel.”

“What I… I really feel?” Marinette mumbled.

“I’m the literal Princess of Love, don’t try to lie to me about this kind of thing,” Cadence went on. In the background, Marinette’s laptop was open to a picture of whom she assumed was her partner. “Trust me, it never works. You may not have worked it out just yet, but I can tell there’s something there. Which is good for me really!”

Twilight Sparkle never seemed to notice Lyra Heartstrings. She didn't even remember Lyra's name.

They were friends back in Canterlot and even went to school together. Yet Twilight didn't notice that Lyra just happened to move to Ponyville the same day she did. She didn't even notice when Lyra appeared at her welcoming party. Nor did she ever seem to spot her old classmate passing by in the background on any other day during her stay in Ponyville. Some days she could look right at Lyra and never realize that they knew each other.

Lyra isn't a very noticeable pony. She has put a lot of effort into that.

What can make a girl's legs look adorable better than a pair of striped socks? Twilight spent long nights deducing formulas and studying the history of women's hosiery, trying in vain to find a competent rival for such a wonderful piece of clothing. But as she proceeded with her studies, she came to a terminal conclusion that striped socks were cuter than any of their counterparts by far.

But scientific method, besides theory, consisted of practice. Now the issue was finding an appropriate lab rat. A great and powerful lab rat, preferably.

Besides, Twilight was sure the said great and powerful lab rat would look cute in striped socks.

Anon likes his life to be simple. He wakes up, goes to work and sometimes gets himself a good book to read while he is home. Meanwhile, Fluttershy has grown troubled over her clashing feelings for Discord and the way he flirts with her. But when she goes on a mission to save a group of innocent souls in need, she finds herself in a troubling situation, alone and in need of help.
