This story is a sequel to Never Meant to Be

After being falsely banished to the furthest reaches of the world, Zeil a reformed changeling sets out on an incredible ten year journey that takes him across the world. This multi-story journey will take him further then he could ever think possible, as he faces not only the dangerous landscapes, but the creatures, residents, and mysteries that reside there as he discovers his true destiny is not only to return to the mare he loves, but to discover a strength inside himself that he never thought possible. But what will happen when he finds more then what he searches for, and how far will one go for the one he loves? We will see...

With Princess Cadence and Shinning Armor's love proving too strong for Queen Chrysalis, she and her changelings are cast far into the distance and out of Equestria. Zeil a changeling who assisted in the attack, fell short and found himself injured and lost in the Everfree Forest. in hopes of receiving first aid, he takes the form of a zebra and ask Zecora for help. However, as time goes by, he starts developing feelings for his savior and starts to wonder, "is it possible for a changeling to fall in love?" and if so "Would she return his love if she only knew the truth?"

I'm Rainbow Dash and it has been three years since I became a pony from a little girls show (Yes, I was originally a human). Many people ask how a human can become a pony, now I'm just going to tell them to go read this. Honestly, I have no idea why my DNA decided to go nuts, it just happened. A lot has happened in three years, I've had strange dreams about being a pony, my body has decided wants to be equine in nature, and gone on tons of adventures with my five best friends. Now stop looking at the description and get on with it.

Rainbow "Danger Professionalism Crash" Dash is starting to get used to her new life in the Wonderbolts; embarrassing callsign and all. But as the days go by, one thing seems to bother her. And that thing is one of her new teammates, Surprise. Or as the team sometimes likes to call her, Slowpoke.

But you wouldn't know that just be looking at her. In her time cleaning the barracks, Rainbow Dash would never think of Surprise as a slowpoke. If anything, she's insane, quirky, and actually a more subdued version of a certain pink pony from back home. So what gives? Why is Surprise called Slowpoke? For Rainbow Dash, the truth is certainly going to be, surprising.

One afternoon, when Twilight and Fluttershy are exploring antique stores, Fluttershy purchases a gem that claims to grant any wish she desires. Some may think she'd wish to have more animal friends, or to have better speaking skills. Instead, she wishes that she could fly like Rainbow Dash.
The next morning, Fluttershy wakes up. Except for one thing. She has no idea where she is, or why every pony expects her to go along with a lifestyle she never knew she had.
As a great unicorn once said, magic does what it likes. Sometimes, it changes all aspects of reality, and tweaks the future.
