Inspired by a lyric from the Horslips song Faster Than the Hound. That lyric is the chapter title.

Things should be fine, shouldn't they? Twilight made right her broken relationships with her old friends, made peace with Moondancer and saw to her wellbeing in the future. Her trip to Canterlot had been difficult, but things had gone rather well, all things considered.
So why is Twilight still so upset? Maybe a walk will help clear things up.

A short existential horror. Apple Bloom accidentally time travels a fraction of a second into the past, and realises she's the only one there. The world continues on around her, yet she's not in it.

The present is an infinitely thin span of time bordered by endless past and future. Everyone you know and love balances on that line. What if you fell off?

Twilight the dragon has never really felt at home in the Dragon Lands. Unlike most dragons, she values intelligence, and is seen as a pariah for it. But things change when she comes across a purple pony named Spike, who has come to the dragon lands on a "Friendship Mission."
But he must be in the wrong place. After all, dragons don't do friendship.

When Big Macintosh saves Applejack from a broken promise on the last day of harvest, she starts to worry she's been taking him for granted. Intent on fixing it, she takes him and Apple Bloom on a camping trip into Whitetail Wood, determined that they all have a good time together, as a family.

A simple story about a brother, his two sisters, and how much they mean to each other.

The incident happened one day in class and Sandbar had be excused. Next time we all saw him, his mane was a complete disaster. It was absolutely a hilarious sight for the rest of us. Unfortunately, I have a feeling it might be affecting Sandbar and he's going a bit off the deep-end.
