This story is a sequel to How to Date a Princess

For 5 years, Twilight and Flash have been dating. For Flash, it's been a magical experience that, despite the ups and downs, was all worth it. And so after much thought, he has finally decide that it is time to ask Twilight the ultimate question. He is going...to propose.

Now if only his bedroom door, Twilight's friends, and the randomly annoying antagonist will let him do that without any trouble. But given how it's almost Tuesday, the chances of that are pretty slim...

This story is a sequel to 'How to Date a Princess'. It is highly advised to read that first...both for story reasons, and for laughs.

This is inspired by Bad Seed 72's fanfiction "What Hath Joined Together". But the events in the story are not canon to the story's universe.
The story shows Captain Iron Hoof, the Captain of the Royal Guard, dreaming of his wedding to Princess Twilight Sparkle a little way in to the future of "W.H.J.T."'s timeline.
Meanwhile, Twilight and Flash decide to take a detour while flying home from Pinkie Pie's latest party.

Twilight Sparkle is stressed with her new role as a princess and wishes she could go back to being a regular old unicorn.

Dawn Cracker, a unicorn living with her indebted father, wishes she had the life of a princess.

When the two meet, they discover they look a great deal alike and (of course) decide to switch places. What chaos will become of this?

What if Twilight had a friend before heading to Ponyville, what if there was a seventh Element of Harmony, what if this pony stayed with Twilight in Ponyville. how would things have turned out

Based on the fairy tale of the Twelve Dancing Princesses. But with a few twists and turns around every corner. When six daughters of Queen Celestia must marry other royalty across Equestira, the girls hatch a plan to make sure they become no prince's prize.

In all honesty, Twilight Sparkle never had much plans for romance. Sure, she occasionally dreamed about finding that one special somepony, but she never had the chance nor the motivation to actively seek him. I mean, all good things come to those who wait, right?

However, when ‘that one special somepony’ is forcibly shoved right in Twilight’s face, it becomes a whole different ball game.

On their wedding night, as they experienced the afterglow of their love making, a young alicorn princess and a young royal guard officer contemplate with each other on how two ordinary ponies such as themselves were blessed with so much.

Was their love by chance, or destiny?

Flash Hoof, a young colt from the slums of Canterlot, trained as an adept thief from childhood by his older brother, has been forced from his home and made to create a new identity for himself.

Now, with his new identity of Flash Sentry, a recent recruit into the royal guards, he must lay low, carefully up keeping this life he has adopted, and avoiding the slightest break in his cover story.

But life has a strange way of throwing distractions into the mix.
