Made some edits do to some small changes

After an out of control storm from the Everfree Forest does serious damage to Ponyville, the townsfolk are given an all expenses paid cruise while the town is repaired. The cruise is attacked by pirates who by mistake unknowingly take the CMC with a small number of other foals, the student six and some School of Friendship students. The result is the Ponies going on an adventure in the famous Sea of Legends, an area known for great tales of riches, and of great dangers.

Takes place sometime after the School of Friendship was opened the second time.

Poor Twilight Sparkle: pride and joy of the University of Eohippus, she is in charge of a team of the most brilliant unicorn minds (plus Fluttershy) of her generation. So it's a shame they're also at least six kinds of deranged and ten kinds of embarrassing.

And then there's Sweetie Belle, who should totally be in school but who'd much rather hone her skills as the world's worst personal assistant secretary fangirl... thingy.

However, this is merely the start of Twilight's problems. In the midst of mad science and a city overstocked with adventure, she'll confront MIA mages, enigmatic infernos, freaky furniture, political plots, hush-hush histories, and worst of all... the fact that she is destined to solve everything.

The reason we have myths and ancient legends about Unicorns, Pegasi, and other Mythical creatures is because like all myths… they have to come from somewhere. Equestria and Earth were once one and the same. Humans and mystical beings living and communicating together in peace and harmony. Then one day something happened, almost overnight if you will. Every trace of these mythical creatures vanished, whole villages and ancient cities just gone. All that remained is what was written. But even with time, that all just about vanished as well. Periodically throughout the ages there would be mention of something be spotted that is not of this earth, but when it was searched for, nothing was ever found.

She's a clever contrivance of carnal convergence, completely committed to coerce companionship and community into her cold and closed castle of a heart. Crumbling the cornerstones of morality and civility in her crusade for comrades. Come follow the calliope's croon, compiled notes of conviction and cordiality, soar in her castle's cloisters under her compassionate gaze. She can convince all the cute fillies and colts into the comfort of her calloused cuffs, cut from constructing paradise, complete now for certain. Who could compile such a complex contraption to condescend all creations? Come, complete the caper, it could be no other convict than Carnival Cat.

A girl is taken to the orphanage, after a tragic event where her family is taken from her.

The girl is introduced to the sisterhood, she never knew of before. The joy of a family, in ways she never dared to hope for.

A closeness, forged; by means out of her control and outside of her experiences.

Wtih the assistance of her friends Applebloom and Scootaloo, things snowball out of the little filly's control, plunging her into a situation that may be more than she bargained for.
