Alright, another update (which is technically the first, but shhh... No need for technicalities) · 7:56am Jul 30th, 2022
Hiya, Zak here, also known as The_0b5erver but hopefully you've figured that out. If not, then well, I have no idea what you're doing reading the second blog post from me.
Anyhow, onto the topic of this post:
"Zak, where is the content?"
Ok so, this one is kinda complicated to explain unless you yourself wrote before and experienced severe burnout. Ever since I posted OPCEA, it's been the only thing on my mind (well, there's also traffic laws, since I'm studying for my driving license, but eh, we can ignore that fact because it makes this sound more impactful) and it's honestly starting to become a bit of a problem. To illustrate my point, here's a story -
Couple days ago I was at the doctor's, for a procedure that was quite painful. So, while strapped to the table and enduring torture for like 20 minutes, I decide to just plan out the story ahead in my mind. At some point I thouht of a joke that, in my opinion (which is always objectively correct) was absolutely hilarious, so I burst out laughing. The doctor turns to me and goes "What's so funny?", and now tell me, how do I explain to a medical proffesional that I am writing a story about ponies and guns without getting sent to a mental facility?
Yeah. You may call cap on this, but it won't make it less true. Some may say I am simply "built different".
Anyhow, the point is; I think about this a lot more than I should and it's starting to wear on me quickly. At this point when I sit down in front of my computer and open my google docs draft sheet, my brain goes "Hey, would you like a scene dump for something that is to take place in 4 chapters time?".
With that being the case, I decided that once I am done with chapter four, I'm gonna start actively working on another project I've had lined up for a while. Counter intuitively, I expect it to increase the amount of content released overall, and reduce the wait times between chapters, but we'll see when we get to it.
Anyhow, this has been your ramble-update on my writing progress. Now, off to work on chapter 4 I go.
In the meantime, you have yourself a great day champ!
