Alright, so I have to say this episode was very well done regardless of what I'm going to go into after this.
So we didn't get to see Scootaloo's family.
An entire episode about Scootaloo, but we still don't know if she has a family, just that she does NOT have an older sister apparently.
A part of me didn't want the writers to include anything about her parents because of the lasting implications in fan fiction. Then, the less stupid part of me desperately wanted them to show her parents because it would be awesome and more stories could run through by lazy brain and never be put into the keyboard. Seriously, though, Hasbro. Hasn't she been an orphan long enough? Either make somepony adopt her or give her parents, for the love of Celestia. Also, that way I have a good reason to re-write the Scoots part in AHA besides the fact it was shitty.
Speaking of randomly changing the subject, AHA will be receiving an update soon, so I can get closer to having it over and done with. I'm only about 1k words into this chapter, so probably about 3k more to go.
Tagging all the stories because I'm bored and need comments to keep this writing a bit interesting.
I read things like this and I ask myself: What's the big deal about Scootaloo's parents? We haven't seen Applejack's/Applebloom's parents either, but nobody's clamoring for the writers to show them. In fact, nobody seems to notice that the Apple family skipped an entire generation!

590007 Well, from living in the South, I can tell you that figuring out some people's generation takes some serious mathematics. For all we know, the Apples actually didn't skip a generation at all.

590080 So true. Love having Louisiana relatives for this reason haha. Anyway I did like the episode but was wondering the same things. I wish they'd clear up some stuff in this show but oh well. More episodes to come.

590125 And WTF was Luna doing. In reality, as much as I'd like some time with her, I'd probably say something to the effect of, "Woah, woah, Luna. you can't just intrude on my dreams like that. I mean that could get super awkward if you found yourself already in here and in lingerie..." But seriously, that certainly should not be part of her "duty"
590171 Well when it comes down to it, would it really be so bad if she intruded on that particular dream? But I digress... I think it was a bit of a cop out for the writing staff honestly. Scoot's having nightmares. She used to epitomize nightmares. But hey! Look! Now she's fixing them! No more nightmares for anyone!
