If you like slice of life blog stories, check out Fallout dude 50. His are general slice of life, and usually funny too. His posts are what inspired me to do these. And I completely ripped off his style, so he deserves more attention and thanks.
Starlight found Spike once again walking through the castle hallways carrying several folded sheets.
Let me guess, the mirrors were covered again.

Nothing I can think of. Every time I've asked she just deflects.

*Raises eyebrow*
Right ... Library.
Twilight sat at the table in her library surrounded by scrolls and books, digging into them with abandon.
Twilight? Is everything okay?
Of course. Why, is something wrong?
Well, the mirrors were covered again.
*laughing nervously* I wonder how that happened.
I'm not doing it, and Spike is usually the one uncovering them. … What's going on Twilight?
I just … don't feel like seeing myself everywhere.
Twilight, I know something is wrong. Why don't you just talk to me.
It's … it's my eyes.
What's wrong with your eyes?
Come on Starlight! You can see them as clearly as anypony, and you know what they mean. The Golden Lord of Nightmares fused part of herself to my eyes and can take over my body! What about that isn't a problem?!
What she did was to handle an emergency. She just wants to experience friendship through you.
But she can! And because of that … *sighs*
You've lost your opportunity to ascend to the throne.
I just don't want to look at my eye's right now.
*turns to leave* You did the right thing, Twilight. No matter what happened because of it, you did the right thing.
