    Writing Still...

I've been writing recently and I think it's something y'all will really enjoy. I'm gonna write it to the end before posting anything, though.

    And Yet It Lives

I'm extremely attention-deficit at the moment so forgive me if I jump around a bunch.

    Reformulation of Insanity's Truth

Sorry if you were really looking forward to the Intermission, but I believe I may actually just postpone it indefinitely. That or I post a separate story at some point. There are a few reasons to this, but the primary being that it really didn't fit into the story. I had fun writing it, but it was no more than an exposition dump at the end of the day.

    Insanity's Truth Intermission Completed

The intermission for Insanity's Truth has been completed! Or, well, the first draft is anyway. I still have to type it all up and get it edited and...

Why Chapter 4 of Insanity's Truth Has Taken So Long

As many of you may or may not be aware, it has been something like half a year since the last chapter of Insanity's Truth. It's less than a 500 words from completion, if I had to estimate. It's just a matter of choosing where to end this one and where to start Chapter 5. Besides that, I just have to write up what I've

Recap of My All-Time Favorite Stories · 9:13pm Jun 24th, 2016

I'm just gonna recommend everything from my Best of the Best stories list.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phoenix Wright - Turnabout Storm! --- While having clunky dialog here and there, the story itself is an incredible read. It follows the trial of Rainbow Dash in the aftermath of a murder. I'd easily recommend it over the video version (which came first) as it adapts that story and adds some much needed elements to it. The read is really fun with a few nice heartfelt moments.

MLP: FML --- An inane and inappropriate parody of season 1, going in order of the episodes. The characters follow a similar structure to their cannon counterparts, but with illogical twists and hilarious exaggerations of certain characteristics. I'm partially recommending this one because I'm making an abridged series adaptation of it.

Princess Celestia Plots Out The Season Finale --- This is a great lighthearted and fourth-wall shattering comedy, where Twilight's whole world comes crashing down on her. The humor is great and the premise is hilariously well-executed. I also love the portrayal of Celestia.

The Truth Is... --- Probably my absolute favorite portrayal of Discord and Twilight out of any fan fiction I've read, this story blows it out of the water with the comedy and mind-blowing plot twists it presents. It's short and sweet, making it a good quick read for some much-needed laughs.

Tooth-hurty --- This story might be my favorite of my favorite of my favorite stories, bringing with it: great characterization for the Dazzlings and Sunset and some of the best comedy I've ever read.

Sunsplit --- A fun mind-boggling story which comes and goes with its 2000 word length. The premise is intriguing and funny, and the execution is simply delightful. Turns out two orange and red horses know each other.

The Iron Horse: Everything's Better With Robots! --- A deep, philosophical, emotional, and hilarious series! This is really high up in my favorites. The story features a robot, struck by lightning and without any memory, forced to make friends. You get to see a lifeless, emotionless, metal being become a living creature. Amazingly written, deeply emotional segments, and just perfect everything; I'd easily recommend it.

Shipping Goggles --- A fun, quick read about Rarity's deepest darkest fantasies which plays with your expectations as you read it. This is the first fan fiction I ever read and is what got me into this whole ordeal in the first place.

Poniocracy --- A relatively short story which reads a lot like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. With great comedy, delicious writing, and a slightly overused premise, I'd definitely recommend the read.

Changeling Doll - A, once again, hilarious story which never fails to liven up my day. The humor is absolutely spectacular as you follow a changeling (doll) become friends with Twilight. It doesn't update very often, but it's still great.

Dash of Humanity --- An all around amazing story with every element done well. The premise is great and with the terrific characterization, comedy, and writing, this is an incredible story to read. It was one of the first "human stuck in a pony" stories, I think, but it also comes with some really interesting twists that I've never seen done before.

Long Road to Friendship --- This is my all-time favorite story that I have ever read in my entire life. You follow Sunset as she attempts to change from an evil she-demon, to someone with flaws and issues, but a friend nonetheless. It brings a whole new side to Sunset's character and develops the Equestria Girl's world in ways that Hasbro could never even dream of accomplishing. It singlehandedly causes the reformation of Sunset Shimmer to be my one of my favorite moments in the entire show. With it's unique take on all of the EQG characters, amazing writing, and tearjerker moments, this story is literally the best thing on the entirety of fimfiction. Seriously, this story has made me stay up at nights and cry at other times. READ IT!

The Alchemist's Heart --- I'd call this my second favorite story, right after the previous one because it engaged me 100% of the way and made me cry more than pretty much any other form of entertainment I've ever seen. It's where a human lands in Equestria and tries to fit in and become an alchemist and do something nopony has ever done before, for no other reason than to right a terrible wrong. I would strongly suggest you check it out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
//The rest of these stories have summaries taken straight from their fimfiction page. I got tired of writing.//

Not The Hero --- Discord's the only creature in Equestria who can recognize the human for what he is -- not the long-lost Seventh Element that never actually existed and couldn't have existed before the human arrived, but a meta-reality warper, an entity far more powerful than Discord with the power to warp the minds of all around him and the very rules of magic to make sure that he's always the Big Hero. And the role the human's assigned to Discord is the Villain to beat down or kill. Pre-reform Discord's fine with being the villain. But on his own terms. Not dancing on some alien interloper's puppet strings. Without friendship, or even allies, Discord's going to have to find a way to defeat a creature who can alter fate itself and who can even mind-control him. Or he may just end up worse than dead. //Breaks and demolishes a lot of common HiE tropes.//

My Twilight Facade --- I used to be a human, but then I pissed off a wizard. Now I'm stuck in "Ponyville", in a land called "Equestria", and with no apparent way back home. I'm also pretty sure that I've just replaced somepony. I'd rather not have to answer any tricky questions, so I'm better off trying to be this unicorn whose name has been forced onto me. My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I'm not a pony. //My favorite ongoing story.//

The Secret Life of Rarity --- Everypony in Ponyville is happy, carefree, and content with their life on the whole... except one. Rarity harbors a dark, murderous secret. She is Equestria's only active serial killer. She has to balance her fashion life, her friends, and her murderous urges as best as she can. This is the story of her mind. //The best grim dark I have ever read. Like Cupcakes except done well with actual characterization. And with Rarity.//

Why am I Pinkie Pie?! --- Okay, I don't know if anyone can hear this, or read this, or whatever, but I'm trying my best to use Pinkie Pie's legendary fourth-wall-breaking powers to try and get a message out. If you can hear this, I need help. I'm in Equestria, and man, this is strange. But I'm also stuck in Pinkie Pie's body, for some reason. Yes, it's just as weird as it sounds. And now, I need your help... because all the ponies in this town think I'm crazy! //A really lighthearted read.//

The Star In Yellow - Deep in the Royal Library is a book. A terrible book that is said to send whoever reads it mad. A book so dangerous that it has to be hidden away and secured with chains to prevent it from ever being opened. A book which has just been accidently checked out by Spike on behalf of Twilight Sparkle. The Star In Yellow is rising once more, and only Rainbow Dash and Spike can save Twilight before it's too late. Ideas live forever. Ponies do not. //This is actually a really deep and thought-provoking story that's well-written.//
