And Yet It Lives · 6:10am Jul 29th, 2019
I'm extremely attention-deficit at the moment so forgive me if I jump around a bunch.
First off, I read through some of my earlier blog posts, up to the end of 2018. What I realized is that it should have been ridiculously obvious I had just the worst ADHD. If you weren't aware, that's a thing I have. Since about August, 2018, I was diagnosed and have been taking medication for it. I believe it shows in how much more put together my later posts are. Also, in that I haven't yet dropped Insanity's Truth in order to go gallivanting off towards a different passion. While my attention still isn't great, it's far better than it used to be.
Secondly, I'm thinking with my addled brain, that I should make another of those favorite stories posts. Just for funzies. I dunno. When I'm in my right mind, I my realize I don't have time for that between all the other mountains of work I have to get done and getting ready for Bronycon. That's correct, I'm going to Bronycon. You wouldn't know what I look like, but I will be at the Scootertrix panel. Because I totally did a bunch of work on it. Maybe I only did two lines of one character. Still, just ask every single person there for Caffeinated Pinkie and/or Jamie and they should be able to point you my way.
Thirdly, I'm still writing Insanity's Truth! If you look at the story description, it has been changed to better fit the tone of the coming chapters. Also, to give an idea of the overarching narrative. Also present in the description is a progress counter that is updated every time I write more of the story. It's rapidly approaching completion. Check it out.
Lastly, for Insanity's Truth, I'm taking quite a bit of inspiration from The Celestia Code when it comes to how I write not!Twilight and how the story is framed. Amazing story; go check it out.
One more small thing is that I have a bunch of partially written comedy one-shots that may one day become actual stories. Don't hold your breath though.
