I find editing stories more enjoyable than reading them in the ordinary manner. Anyone who is interested in having me proofread their stories should message me with their requests. If I do a good job, please leave a comment here thanking me. I'd love to help the community and it would be fun to build up something of a resume of people I've helped with editing stories to their satisfaction.
There are a lot of good ideas that don't get the spread they deserve due to flaws in the writing that turn away readers. People within fandoms really do make many decisions about how to regard a canon by its fanon. People outside of a fandom really do occasionally delve into exceptional fanfic (whether it's a good kind of exceptional or a bad kind of exceptional). The more well-edited FiMfiction as a whole is, the better a face we're putting on our pony overlords.
