Soul Searching, Soul Sister, and Soul Soldier

Hey... it's been a while, hasn't it? Not sure how much right I have to come back here after everything I've done, but this site just kinda popped back into my mind, and I came to the realization (too little too late, in a few senses of the phrase) that I left a lot of people here with a pretty bad taste in their mouths. I... don't really have anything to remedy that, I'm afraid. I just wanted to

    The New Episode...

I read the description of the next episode of MLP, and I could help but think of this...

That is to say, Starlight Glimmer just started playing Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Top Five Reasons My Life As I Once Knew it is Over

Just so you know, this isn't going to be a sad, whiny, "first-world problems" blog. I'm just explaining how I'm now a far cry away from a high school student doing nothing but writing fanfiction in his free time. Anyway, on with the list...

The Third-Stupidest Idea I've Had This Summer

So I've been playing and watching a lot of Metroid content lately, and my most recent endeavor was watching a playthrough of AM2R. (And bear in mind, I never actually played Metroid II myself...) Then, as I watched the final sequence where The Baby follows Samus off of SR-388, I thought about something: a fanfiction written from The Baby's

Metroid Other M: The Worst $22 I've Ever Spent (A Rather Long "Short Story", then a Review)

So, I finished Metroid Prime Trilogy a few weeks ago, and like an idiot, I didn't play a good Metroid game next. (I had my pick of the litter, too. Super, Fusion, Zero Mission, II... hell, I should have just replayed the Metroid stage of Kirby's Dreamland 3!) It started while I was at the flea market just a couple days after beating Corruption. I was armed with about $50 and looking for a new

"Never give up! Trust your instincts!" (Peppy Hare, 20XX) · 11:00pm Oct 26th, 2015

Odd title for this blog, right? Yeah, I considered changing it all the way to when I clicked "Post Blog Entry." Can you still see it? Welp, there's my mistake.

Anyway, you're probably wondering about the significance of this title. Well, part of the reason is that I've already used "I'm Not Dead (Unless I'm a Ghost...)," which would have been perfect since it's October and all. The other part is that I had been considering giving up writing fanfiction on this site. Yes, I'll come out and say it. I probably would have up and abandoned all of you for the sake of Gamejolt (Obviously, I would have posted a message saying that I was giving up. I wouldn't just leave everyone wondering unless I actually HAD died.) But today, as I was looking through my notifications for this site, I noticed about two or three people ask (in different and not often direct) ways if my stories were dead. (Alright, this was only even vaguely one occasion, but the other two times had a similar effect.)
And that got me looking back on my past. My first foray into fanfiction was on this site. I got my start with My Little Pony Rangers: Enter the Nightmare. (At the time simply titled "My Little Pony Rangers." I can never quite remember why I changed the title...) Someone asked in the comments if the story was dead, and I thought to myself "Doggonnit! I can't just leave people hanging! I've got a duty to uphold!" Then I saw this. (Which wasn't the first of my stories he'd reviewed, by the way. He'd also done Lost and Found, which I will confirm is cancelled until a heavily-unlikely-to-come further notice.) And that sparked something in me.
You know what? I've already posted Markiplier's Royal Quest. Let me just coast on that for a little while, and get back to what matters most: my original followers. Yes, you people, ponies, griffons, dragons, furries, Pokemon, Transformers, Yo-Kai... what was the point I was trying to make again? Oh right! You all matter to me. I'm sorry if I've been doing a really crappy job of showing that lately...

Someone hold me to this challenge: This time within two weeks, the second arc of A New World, A New Family will be completed, and progress will be made in My Little Pony Rangers: Morphin' is Magic. As well, I will try to work on others of my neglected stories.
Screw your 20-day free trial, RPG Maker MV. I'm planning on buying you sometime in the future anyway.
Screw you, TronicMC 2015. You're just gonna have to wait for your shameless self-promoting vidjagame. (And for the love of Christ, get off your ass and fulfill your promise to get Markiplier's Royal Quest to Markiplier!)
And most importantly, screw you, school. I don't need to take your-
*a giant pissed-off creature representing school turns around and glares at me* What did you just say?
*recoils back* Nothing. You're... totally cool. And you don't smell at all.
Now, where was I? Oh yeah! By November 9th, I shall be back in full swing. THIS I SWEAR!
