Which one to try first? · 1:09am Aug 7th, 2012
I've got two ideas that I want to work on, but only enough mental power to attempt one of them at the moment: One is a story about chaos and political intrigue between the Equestrian kingdom and its outlying city-states that begins with the sky temporarily turning orange (I think I chose orange, I'd have to consult my notes.)
The other is a Firefly crossover about the hero of Canterton, the one they call Jayne. This will be a criminal's story about greed, but the inevitably Equestrian MLP magical universe somehow twisting even the most self-indulgent actions into something for the greater good. (Or something like that.)
Both ideas have caught my fancy, and I intend to work on both eventually, but I pose the question to all you people following the account for some strange reason: Which one do you want to see posted here first?
I know nothing about Firefly, so I will be casting my vote for the first one.
I'm with Raz on this one. I hear Firefly is good and all, and I know that crossovers can be done correctly, but the first idea instantly strikes me as having way more universal appeal. And with your penchant for detail, I'm sure you'd make an epic like that truly sexy.
But, yanno, what's most important is that you write what you enjoy. And you did Firefly and poni poni poni then do Firefly and poni poni poni.

I do like Firefly, but I'm with Raz and skirts, for the wider appeal, but as skirts said, you should enjoy it.
