A little self conscious, I suppose. Hopefully putting these out will help with that.

Short #1, #2, #3, Finally · 6:05am Jul 15th, 2012

WARNING! WHINY WAXING WITHIN! I don't really do TL;DRs, but you can skip to the last three paragraphs if you want to read this without the personal thoughts. You been warned.

I think I would like to apologize.

I said I'd get three short stories out in three days. I'm not apologizing for the first two- they were submitted on time and got approved more or less on cue. But when it came time to put out a little work on our favourite monsterpony's wrestling pets, it took two weeks to see a sign of anything. That was 100% completely and fully my bad. There isn't and wasn't much to be done- writing wasn't the only thing of mine that suffered in those weeks -but that doesn't change the fact that I was indeed late. Or the fact that I promised. I'll be more careful of what I say I can and can't do in the future. But who am I apologizing to? The release date of Gorgon's Wrestling Radroaches doesn't exactly have an impact on many schedules. If you were actually waiting, then certainly I apologize to you for taking so long. But...

I am not egotistical, at least I try not to be. I know that I could count the number of people who read these on less than a hand. But that doesn't matter, because the person I write these for always reads every last word. He's the one who worries the most. He's the one that is looking to improve. He's the one who edits the work and frets over its quality. So I apologize to him. Mel, I'm sorry it took me so long to finish what I started. I will do better next time.

Okay, enough moping.

I am more pleased-er than punch with the last batch of shorts. Not because of anything inherent with the story, but with the feedback. Auntie Screwball got a good reception, which might have something to do with it being more than some original characters doing silly things offscreen. Even the radroach story is getting more talk than usual, even though I really didn't have much faith in it. Now what is coming up for the future?

I really hope you like Fallout: Equestria.

There is a little something I'll be working on for a while that is tied to the good ole wasteland. Remember when I said there would be more Cerberus? Well, it is just about time to SHOW THESE GODLESS STRIPES HOW WE HANDLE THINGS IN EQUESTRIA! HOO-RAH!

But that's for later. In the meantime, I'm going to be piecing together my first adventure! And maybe some shorter things along the way. I do have a bit of fallout that I'm itching to try... but I've also got an idea for something more familiar to the show. Now inspiration comes as inspiration goes... but I can't help but wonder something.

If you're reading this, answer me this this plaintive plea: Would you prefer things to NOT be in a post-nuclear wonderland? Do you prefer the standard fantasy setting to the radioactive hellscape? What do you want to see: A royal guard and his companions battle to take back their kingdom, or a band of exiled toughs trying to survive their pilgrimage to brighter horizons- with Cows?

Either way I'll do whichever strikes me as the best choice.

One more thing before I finish the longest blog post yet- Twi-Shy-Pie! Don't think I can't see you watching! Yes, you! Pay attention, this is probably the only time you'll get this for stalking someone... Thank you for watching!

Seek and strive, everyone. Yielding is for suckers.
