Every winter, Applejack heads off into the apple orchard after a heavy snowfall. This year is no different. She can't describe why she does it—to feel the wind chill, to test her endurance, to get some time alone with her thoughts...
All she knows is that she loves the journey.
After the last one, I figured people liked pointless snow stories.
I love to write about snow, and I figured I'd give it another shot since the last one was a good time for everyone involved. And you know what? I had fun writing this. I got caught up in the first half of the story with all the dialogue. I'm glad I got it all down.
And I guess this means the hiatus is officially over. Look forward to a few more story updates.
And in the end, that's all that matters.
The story was fun, and it was a nice palate cleanser from the stuff I am currently reading.
