How's my favorite fanfiction site doing?

Man, 10 years to the day since I made an account. How time flies amiright
(lurked without an account for like 3 months but close enough)

Don't got a lot to say but I saw the date a while back and thought it'd be a neat thing to do, and it's been 6 years since I last did anything.

    So today is my birthday

    Neat I guess.

I don't plan on doing much of anything besides maybe ordering an expensive pizza from Dominos and just being a pig.
But yeah, not much going on here besides trying to get a job before our money runs out all together in June.

    So....yeah. Things have been slow.

Sorry I've been about as productive as a goldfish swimming in syrup. Things here at home have been pretty rough the past months. I had to quit my job at a pizza place because it was wearing my car down faster than I made money, soooooooooooo I've been "in between jobs" for a good 3 months now. And things here haven't exactly been stellar. Writing has once again had to take a backseat to making

What is you most absolute favorite story on the site? Like, there is no other that even comes close to it on this or any other site.

That's probably one of the hardest questions I've been asked in a while. There are so many stories I hold in regards as something written by the gods, it's hard to pick just one. I'm always bringing up The Heart of a Dragon, but is it my all-time top favorite?

Probably not, though it is up there in my top 5. The next story that comes to mind is All About Rarity, a mature fic. I haven't finished it yet, I'm about 3/4 the way through but I can't debase myself enough to its awesomeness. Last fic I'll mention is Lost in the Night, an older fic but for some reason I find myself reading it at least once a month.

Personally I think its just down to the snowball effect. But seriously? people ask you if you're a virgin???:pinkiegasp:

They certainly do. Not sure what it is that make people think I'm not. Granted it has been a few years >.>
God I miss being a teenager.

Did you put "I was Sexy-senpai's first follower" on your resume yet? ;D
I wrote it in yellow, just to be a horrible person:moustache:

What's the philosophical current you find yourself agreeing with the most?
I used to want to believe there was reason for everything, but really, I think shit just happens. Nothing's meant to be, things just happen the way that they happen.

DO YOU LIKE CAPSLOCK?!?
CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE-CONTROL FOR COOL

What's your opinion on the fandom as it is nowadays?
It feels less like a community of people who share common interests, and more like "Well it's the hip thing nowadays, so I guess I'll be one too." Feels like people are just all too happy for anything new, even if it's a shit pie people want it since it's one week newer than last week's.
...too blunt? :trollestia:

And what would you consider as your favorite art form?
Fuck I knew you were going to ask this:facehoof:
I want to say visual arts because of how much thought they can invoke with a bad sketch even.... but even a bad fanfic that at least has a good idea can make you think a lot too, let alone a true masterpiece of literature. And I love to think.
I love music don't get me wrong, but majority of the time music makes me feel, as does visual art and literature but those latter two also make me think.

Art is faster to take in. Bam, picture is up and you're thinking and seeing the whole picture right away.
Novels take some more work to get through all the layers and finally reach a conclusion.

After some thinking--12 minutes of it--I decided that stories are my favorite if only slightly.

The thing with a book, it typically leaves me thinking about it for longer after I'm finished with it than most pieces of visual art.

Best song in the show?
I'm going to murder you:facehoof:
You know I love all of Rarity's songs the most:raritydespair:
I'll have to settle on 'Becoming Popular'.
Prick.
I mean that with all the love in the world.
Dirtbag.

Hayfries with or without ketchup sauce?
Who doesn't like ketchup with their fries?
Baby eaters that's who.

Kant, Marx or Descartes?
I'd have to say Kant. Marx had too many of his arguments steeped in religion and God, and Descartes I just couldn't get into for some reason.

Writing app of choice?
Typically I wrote in Microsoft Word, but when I realized Microsoft's a real piece of shit, and MS-Word had always-online DRM which is absolutely unacceptable, I've been writing in Gdocs and occasionally Notepad/Wordpad when I don't feel like faffing with autocorrect and Gdoc's issues with my older version of Firefox.

How would you describe the greatness of alpacas? :rainbowwild:
My sister has an alpaca pillow, and it's the softest damn thing in existence >_>
So alpacas get a pass from me:moustache:

1. Who is your least favorite main character-pony?
Probably Spi--

main character-pony?

..oh.
Pinkie Pie then.
Followed by Applejack and Rainbow Dash in no particular order.

2. Not concerning clop, who’d be your favorite pony to put in a romantic situation? (Writing for them in a romantic manner/situation).
I'm assuming ones that are canon, and I haven't already done so with..... so.......

*looks through all his stories, seeing who's been done already*

I'll have to say Fluttershy. There are endless interesting ways she could react to a romantic situation in my mind.
Some of them are already planned too:trollestia:

3. Which of the Sirens is your favorite?
I'd have to say Adagio, with Sonata in a close second-place. What'shername, the 3rd one..... Meh.

4. What was your favorite part about traveling through Ohio in 2014?
When we left.
Nah too easy:trixieshiftleft:
Probably finally getting to see your ugly mug in person, you filthy Canadian.
You northerners with your maple syrup and your universal healthcare.

5. If you could get a job in Equestria, what would it be?
Well, my first choice would spoil some major plot points and development in To Live Another Life's main protagonist.
My second choice would probably be magic study. Something like Twilight, but more trying to learn the roots of magic and its source. How it interacts with the world, and things like why some unicorns just naturally suck at magic with practice, while others master it so easily.

6. Back to you being in Equestria, there’s often the need to perform a musical number. If you could have a musical number performed involving you in some way, what genre of music would be performed?

Hmm, my first thought was a beautiful, smooth jazz piece so I'll go with that:moustache:
Who doesn't like jazz?

7. Which of the Mane Six’s pets would you adopt, if you had the choice to make of adopting one of them? (Philomena, Pee Wee, and Spike don’t count).

Phi--

Philomena, Pee Wee, and Spike don’t count

I hate you.

Well, Angel bunny I'd drop down a well.
I'm not a dog person, sorry Winona.
Tank, eh, I've had reptile pets before and they're kinda a pain to take care of and not very cuddly.
Gummy? Same. He'll regrow those teeth eventually too:rainbowderp:
Owlow...Owliwis------TWILIGHT'S BIRD. Nah. Owls are cool but I'll pass.

Opalescence it is then! I'm a cat person, and that prissy white ball of fur is just like my cat actually.

8. Is there a song you can divulge that you have a particularly emotional attachment to?
Several actually, but I'll just shuffle my iTunes until I hit one I feel is worth talking about.

...
...
...
"Through the Ghost" by Shinedown. Makes me think of somebody I shared a connection to, and the world will never really know her like I do.

9. We tend to prefer wearing certain clothes to others based around our lifestyles: What’s your ideal “custom outfit”?
...honestly?
What my usual outfit is now. It's comfortable, practical, and looks decent without being too much into one category of instant visual stereotyping.

When I go out, I've got my white cargo shorts (shutup they're still cool), a thin black zip-up jacket with a couple white tracksuit-syle lines on the arms, and whatever clean t-shirt I found first underneath that.

I don't do pants. I get too warm. I haven't worn actual pants since my prom in 2000-whenever it was. And before that, some wedding like a decade prior:rainbowlaugh:

10. What’s your opinion on censorship?
I had to go on Skype and ask you what exactly you mean for this one, which I felt rather dumb for:facehoof:
I'll just keep this one short and say it's something I'd rather have than not at all.
Is either way perfect? Nope. But it's just what I'd likely pick if I had any real say.

11. If you could give a gift to a voice actress you like, what would it be? (DON’T YOU DARE SAY ‘The D’ AGAIN!)
Dammit.
I... really don't know. I'm kinda crap when it comes to coming up with gift ideas out of the ether.

My best answer is some super high quality pendant, made of silver, gold, sapphire, etc. in the shape of the Cutie Mark of the character they voice.

Example. Nicole Oliver would get a solid gold sun pendant, like Celestia's Cutie Mark.

....shutup it was the best I had!

12. What’s been your reaction so far to me reading TLAL, proofreading and reviewing it in the process?

Let's just say it's been a mixed response.

13. What’s your favorite song from the Rainbow Rocks soundtrack?
All of them.

14. If you could send someone to Equestria aside from yourself, who would you send?
I'd probably gather up all my friends into some sort of deathmatch dueling arena, complete with lava traps. Last man standing gets to go to Equestria.

15. If you could interview a pony (have the opportunity to only ask them questions and have them answer truthfully), who would it be?
Fluttershy. There's so much I'd want to learn from her. For starters, what the situation is with her parents and who they are.
Call me boring but dammit I wanna know.

2736097

O-oh

Okay...

IT'S NOT LIKE I LIKED HAUNTING YOU OR NOTHING

B~BAKA!!

Lol.
I'd send something with Luna's cutie mark to her voice actor.

2736097

I couldn't resist!!

Oh, so I'm a prick now? I'm not the one who asked for more questions. :trollestia:
And questions on favorite forms are important. I kinda agree with your answer for that one, actually.

As for the fandom thing, I've only joined in 2012 so I wouldn't know really 'bout the "familial" feel. Tis a good description of capitalist society as a whole, though, and since the fandom is a small society... I do think that there's still good in it, though. The public changes, but the artists are still there, possibly better and more present than before. Then again I'm mostly active in the Fo:E sub-fandom.

And Kant, heh? Morality everywhere. I like Marx for his positions on Religion n' Classes, and I respect Descartes for his Cogito and the time he managed to fend off 15 pirates all by himself. I'm definitely closer to Schopenhauer and Nietzsche though.
Nihilism yay~ :yay:

Wow. Didn't even answer my question. Wow.

2736558 Last time on Dragon Ball Z:

Fucking a sex-doll does mean you aren't a virgin.

This time on Dragon Ball Z:
That's a statement, not a question. You failed to directly pose a question.
Next time on Dragon Ball Z.

2737004 IT'S A QUESTION NOW, BITCH!!

2737157 But it wasn't THEN, and that's what matters.

Now go have yourself a ninja sex party.

I like alpacas. :yay:

...older version of Firefox.

Why are you using an older version of firefox? If it's because of their UI change, I'll point you to this thing.

2737466
I actually used that for a while, worked great but the newer versions of Firefox make a lot of my other apps stop working. Important things like Session Manager, and the newer versions are more unstable and crashed a lot on me.
